This is the 3rd Toyota vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. The experience was superior to any other vehicle purchase I have made. I would highly recommend stopping by and experiencing Toyota of dealership. The experience was superior to any other vehicle purchase I have made. I would highly recommend stopping by and experiencing Toyota of Scranton for yourself. You will not be disappointed. Darryl went over my new vehicle purchase from top to bottom. He even went as far as progamming my phone into the navigation system. More
This has been perhaps the most positive experience I have ever had in buying a vehicle. Ms. Tucker responded quickly to my internet inquiry, setting up an appointment with Mr. Noone who provided great servic ever had in buying a vehicle. Ms. Tucker responded quickly to my internet inquiry, setting up an appointment with Mr. Noone who provided great service in selling me my truck. He coordinated the estimated pricing for my old truck as well as the incentives and pricing of my new truck. A Customer Appreciation Certificate given to me by Ms. Webber added to the deal, and the sales manager sealed the deal by adding my request for the addition of running boards (an add on option). Paper work was efficiently completed by Mr. Sampogne (I think) with clear explanations. Mr. Noone then took the time to go over the vehicle controls and options with us including transferring plates from my old vehicle to my new. Everyone was friendly and courteous, and the staff did not play the usual car dealership games such as running back and forth between the salesman and the manager. Perhaps this was because Ms. Tucker and Mr. Noone had already provided me pricing information up-front over the internet - I don't know. What I do know is that I also own a Toyota Avalon which I have had serviced at this dealership, and my experiences with customer service are why I wanted this to be the place where I bought my new truck. I would recommend someone looking for a vehicle to check out the internet pricing system at this dealership and to talk to Mr. Noone or Ms. Tucker. These are the reasons why I have given the ratings I have. More
I had a great experience with Toyota Scion of Scranton. Andy Noone was my sales representative. He was very knowledgable in answering all of my questions and finding me the exact vehicle that I was lookin Andy Noone was my sales representative. He was very knowledgable in answering all of my questions and finding me the exact vehicle that I was looking for. The day I went to pick up my new vehicle everything went very smoothly. Andy was extremely helpful in explaining every detail about my new vehicle. When I was finished with Andy, I spent time with Michael McIntyre, the financial manager. He was very thorough when explaining all of the options that were available to me. I am extremely happy with my new Toyota Rav 4. I had a very pleasurable experience at Toyota Scion of Scranton. I am looking forward to recommending Toyota Scion of Scranton to my family and friends! Hopefully, my next experience is as pleasurable as my first! Sincerely, Amy Sullivan More

Now I notice that they used steel wool and got the black trim around my doors and windows all scratched. I'm never going to buy a new car from them or recommend them to others so if anyone needs body work done stay away . They need to improve their quality of work or hire the right people for the job. After a test drive, I asked the salesperson to work up a monthly lease payment with all charges rolled into the payment. He gave me an offer in writing, which included a $1200 discount. When I reviewed monthly lease payment with all charges rolled into the payment. He gave me an offer in writing, which included a $1200 discount. When I reviewed the information, I discovered that sales tax had been added in to the capitalized cost of the car. I called them on this (on a lease, tax is based on the monthly payment). They admitted they had made a 'mistake', but then out of nowhere, they added in a bank fee which compensated for taking out the tax. In short--the $1200 discount was not real--it was added back with the tax. When I caught them on this, they still tried to take it away with the 'bank fee.' I went to Motorworld, where they gave me straight, honest numbers. Interestingly, they charged no bank fee. I've been advising people to avoid Toyota of Scranton. They can't be trusted. More
They are a slipperly bunch - from the salesmen to the finance handlers to the service dept. For instance, their extended service aggreement is a cheapo, in-house type with NO UNDERWRITER. What happens if finance handlers to the service dept. For instance, their extended service aggreement is a cheapo, in-house type with NO UNDERWRITER. What happens if the dealership closes down? What if I breakdown in Binghamton? I hear that they regularly screw other Toyota/Scion dealer-service depts. by not honoring trough reimbursed money transfer like a Toyota backed plan does. You're SCREWED. They are totally about making a buck; customer comes LAST! The only bright spot is a comfortable waiting area. More
