Customer Service From the moment I walked on to the lot in search of. new car, I was greeted by a friendly salesman. I knew basically what Inwas looking for and told him so. He found the car I was looking for, we took a spin and I bought it. He didn't try and sell me something I didn't want, and was able to answer all of my questions. Since buying my Prius, I have been to the Service Center 4 times and each time have been really impressed with the customer service, overall knowledge of the crew, and the abilitiy to handle what seem like stressful situations for customers with consideration and poise. It always seems crowded there, yet everything runs so smoothly. My most recent experience was the best. It was Saturday, 3/18 and I was due for my 20,000 mile appointment, which was scheduled for the following Saturday. That morning my warning notification changed and stayed on all the time. Not wanting to wait a week, I called and spoke to a woman who couldn't have bewn more helpful. She listened to my situation, put me on hold for a brief minute before tellinge the shop could get me in for service that aftenoon. If I got the car there ASAP they would be able to get it done by closing. It was 12:50. My problem was I was at work and had to get back to work. The woman (I forget her name unfortunately) insured the shuttle would be ready to take me back to work, and would even come back to pick me up if I needed when my car was ready. Above and beyond great customer service. Upon arriving at the dealership there were a number of cars in front of me. As I didn't habe an appointment, I waited outside my car. When it was my turm the guy (Thomas) got me dailed in. He didn't discard me for not having an appointment, yet went out of his to get me all the information I needed. As busy as they were, my car was finished in less than 2 hours. I really appreciated all of the employees assistance in short amount of time and the excellence they showed in their craft. While I wouldn't normally write this much, I really have been impressed with everyone at Toyota of SB and thought you'd like to know. More
