It was great! I went in ro Toyota of Santa Barbara to have my 2017 Tacoma truck looked due to a funny noise it was making when the air was blowing. It turn out so I went in ro Toyota of Santa Barbara to have my 2017 Tacoma truck looked due to a funny noise it was making when the air was blowing. It turn out some Debris was stuck in the condemnation line. I thought my truck was going to be there all day and it was finished in less than three hours. Toyota fix it at no charge. Super pleasant, ethical, and a breeze! Well, it started with a five-hour ordeal at an LA-based Toyota dealer that pulled every shady trick in the book - including finding us the "unicorn" o Well, it started with a five-hour ordeal at an LA-based Toyota dealer that pulled every shady trick in the book - including finding us the "unicorn" of the car they said we were looking for (after an unsuccessful bait-and-switch), but only in Santa Barbara (assuming it was too far away for them to lose the sale). Well, we walked away from that dealer even after the five-hour investment. And then got on the internet and found there were two of that very car here in LA, so I started calling around to find them, while my husband simply called Toyota of Santa Barbara. Well, John confirmed he had the car and then said to my husband, "You see the sticker, my dealer discount is X amount, I'll give it to you for $100 over that, and yes, the financing they offered you is a Toyota deal that we can give you as well, so let me know when you'll be here and it will be waiting for you - and here, I'll even have Angel send it all to you in an email before you leave town." So seriously - we got in the car 15 minutes later and headed up to SB. The car and Angel were waiting for us upon arrival, they asked us to take a test drive to make sure we were happy, the financial paperwork was super-quick (and Hector was also very pleasant), and we were in and out of the dealership in an hour. I now have the car I want after a thoroughly pleasant experience with every person we interacted with, who clearly all take pride in their work and their reputation...a true reward for five hours of car-buying grossness at the hands of Culver City Toyota! I only regret it's too far to get all my service there and send all my friends. More
