Dealer Overcharged Windshiekd Blades We feel we were being overcharged for replacing the blades for the 2 windshield wipers at Santa Barbara’s Toyota Service Shop. We were quoted $40 but We feel we were being overcharged for replacing the blades for the 2 windshield wipers at Santa Barbara’s Toyota Service Shop. We were quoted $40 but ended up being charged $60 without explanation. Very unhappy with the service but my daughter was in a hurry to get back to study for her exam so we just verbally challenged the cost briefly before paying and left as soon as possible. I had a Lexus and also had the windshield blade replaced a week ago but the service was fine in in Bay Area’s Redwood City. The cost was only around thirty something dollars. More

Kept me in the loop Needed an oil change, so we took our Camry to Toyota of Goleta. As they were doing their inspection, which is part of their service, they found a brok Needed an oil change, so we took our Camry to Toyota of Goleta. As they were doing their inspection, which is part of their service, they found a broken motor mount. I received a call informing me, and did I want to have it replaced? We had it replaced, and the price was about half of the quote. We are very satisfied with the service from Toyota of Goleta, and will continue to take our vehicles there. More

Friendly Staff I took the car in for an oil change and my service representative was really helpful and pleasant to work with. The only downfall was when I made the appointment they knew I would need a ride home but since there was only 1 driver that day it took an hour from the time I dropped off the car and got home. More

Terrible service and communication I brought my car in for a warranty air bag replacement. They put me in a rental car for 3 months(!). My car was there so long the service manager supp I brought my car in for a warranty air bag replacement. They put me in a rental car for 3 months(!). My car was there so long the service manager supposedly working on my car left mid-way and my service got lost in the shuffle so no one picked up my case, my car just sat there until I called to find out what was going on. I was always the one having to follow up, they didn’t keep me updated on the progress of my car. My car literally just sat in their lot for 3 months until the part came, and when they finally did the air bag swap and returned my car, they didn’t even run it through a car wash so it was filthy. Including the inside because my windows were left open part of the time! Terrible, terrible service. At least I had a rental car, but the service dept and rental dept never communicated, so that was an added headache to have to renew the rental agreement every 2, sometimes 1, weeks over three months time. Absolutely absurd and a huge waste of my time. More
