I was well aware of scams and add ons so I was very careful NOT to accept any of the "extras" they tried to push on me. After declining the first warranty, they tried to slip in a cheaper one, which I caught. Then they tried to skip the deduction of my rebate, which I caught. When we finally agreed on a price, I then had to wait a REALLY long time to sign the contract and did not catch the inclusion of an added "$500 undercoating." (Which my salesman had previously told me was not an add on because it had already been done. -- no extra charge.) I signed, went home and realized I had been scammed this amount. When I went in to see them they told me that they had given me the wrong car (different VIN #). They had me sign new papers but did not give me any copies of a new contract with correct VIN. When I asked for proof of my new VIN's undercoating having been done, they could not provide it. The General Manager then asked his Service guy to produce proof and he literally invented a fake work order. These guys at best are sloppy liars and at worst are predatory. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! More

They had exactly what I wanted, after doing extensive research on car choices and value of car for cost. I bought a used car at a competitive price with low milage and great condition. I was very fortunate to work with sales rep, Joe, who presented his humanity alongside his occupation. Every time I go by on my bike now, I feel a little better knowing I had such a good experience. That said, be sure to do research in advance, read other reviews and hold your own (as seemingly with most car dealerships nationwide). More
Shady Practices and Unapologetic Here is our experience buying a used car at Toyota of Pullman. We bought a 2001 Toyota Avalon with very low miles for the age. The Avalon was a smoke Here is our experience buying a used car at Toyota of Pullman. We bought a 2001 Toyota Avalon with very low miles for the age. The Avalon was a smoker car that had been fumigated several times. Service, when we took it in said: "Oh that car is back AGAIN"? In the end they sold us a smoker car without any mention of the same. The smell was not noticeable until the car had sat in the sun the day after we purchased it. They covered it up well enough for when we drove it. Misrepresentation is what I call that. When we called them on the smoke, they would only take the car back at trade in value, so we lost another 4-5k in two days. Then, when they wrote up the final contract for the Malibu purchased as a replacement, they miscalculated the warranty pay off, and so we were forced to sign a new sales document with no apologies other than taking 120 off the warranty. This was a 3000 dollar error. Therefore what we thought was a 23,000 loan, actually turned into 26,000, with no recourse except to take the additional loan. We would have looked for a better deal had we known the final numbers. Lastly they do not mention the "out the door" price until you have signed the credit application and they ran everything. It all goes so quickly that they sweep you up in the moment. More

I was not going to fb this, but others pointed out I should let others know of their unethical practices. They took us for a very large sum of money. We bought a car June 11 that was valued at almost$17,000 dollars. I was assured the car had been in no accident, and that it was gone though as well as a certified vehicle. I drove it for less than an hour when the hood started separating from side panel. We immediately called Toyota of Pullman. We were told you bought it as is, but we will look at it. We took it back up, once again told you bought it as is. They said they would put new clips on it. Shortly afterwards, I witnessed the three mechanics and sales representative talking about it needed $2000 worth of front work. Several minutes later, head mechanic said it was fixed. I said it looked worse they had really loosened up the panel. Offered to keep it and order special clips. Three days later the vehicle is brought to us with the red engine light now on. I ask our body shop to look at the car. Withen 30 sec. he said it had been in a front end collision and showed us 6 trouble spots. Back up Pullman we go. They said not our problem, you bought as is. The best they would do was buy our car back from us for $13,000, take $1,500 off of our trade in and sell us a new car. We asked about the failure to disclose policy and was told "tough luck" you won't win this in the state of Idaho. The owner of the dealership was aware of what was happening through this. When we thought about keeping car and fixing ourself. We were heavily discouraged not to do this. I have to agree....we had a panel coming off the side and a check engine light. We needed to just buy a new car from them. After four hours of arguing, we bought the new car. For the simple fact, that is all they would do for us. We drove this car for less than three hours(2 hours was to and from dealership) and they took no responsibility for selling a damaged car as in great shape. PLEASE think twice before dealing with them. More
Beware! Beware! When my 2005 Prius couldn't be repaired (or so I thought at the time), I bought a 2013 Prius with about 13,500 miles on it. I had test driven it and When my 2005 Prius couldn't be repaired (or so I thought at the time), I bought a 2013 Prius with about 13,500 miles on it. I had test driven it and looked it over, but I made a big mistake: I did not check the tires. I assumed that a car with only 13,500 miles would have tires with the same low mileage. WRONG! THE TIRES FAILED WITHIN 500 MILES! When I called the dealership and objected, the sales manager said, "I checked those tires and they were OK." I believe that when he sold me the car, he should have told me how old the tires were. In spite of my persistent complaints, the dealership alleged that they are not responsible for the tires. So be very cautious when you buy a used car from them. Check the tires to make sure they have the same mileage as the car. Then you might as well go ahead and check the battery, the radiator, the brakes, and all the other parts of the car, just to make sure that they haven't been replaced with older parts. Like so many others who have reviewed this dealership, I will never do business with them again. More

We needed a vehicle for dr appointments & just to get On 5/26/15, I bought a pre-owned car from Toyota of Pullman. I take care of my disabled sister. We needed a vehicle for dr appointments & just to get my sister out of town once in awhile. I am 52 years old,and thought I could see a con. But I have never been so mistreated & ripped off. I am beside myself, I was lied to, taken advantage of & threatened with arrest & jail because I attempted to return the car 2 days later. I was told I wouldn't pay above retail blue book. I was charged $1,600 over! I told them the vehicle was for a disabled person and that went unheard! This was my sister's money and it was every dime she had. I was told the car was checked out top to bottom. Since then they have had to fix a burnt out headlight & door lock. Issues they refuse to fix are hood hydraulics, blown speaker, burnt out tail light & cracked headlight cover. I don't believe the car was inspected. I hope this complaint lowers their rating. They are so dishonest they should not be in business. Of course, I blame myself for wasting my sister's money. Just never thought a salesman could lie so well and would cheat a disabled woman. I sure hope they feel good about themselves! Anyone considering of buying from them should look elsewhere! More
