I went to Toyota of North Miami on July 17, 2025 for a full service on my 2012 Highlander (oil change, tire rotation, new drive belt, and bulb replacement), $600 later. I also paid for a full multipoint i full service on my 2012 Highlander (oil change, tire rotation, new drive belt, and bulb replacement), $600 later. I also paid for a full multipoint inspection, and they told me my battery was completely fine. Less than 6 weeks later, on September 6, 2025, my car broke down in Miami Beach because of a dead battery. The shop that replaced it (Tire Choice) showed me proof the battery was corroded and failed a diagnostic test (11.57V – “Replace Battery”). Corrosion like that doesn’t just develop in a month — it should have been caught during Toyota’s inspection. Because Toyota missed this, I had to pay for a tow and an expensive emergency battery replacement. This was frustrating, costly, and completely preventable. I trusted Toyota to do a thorough inspection, but their oversight left me stranded. I expected better from a dealership service center. I also called to resolve this conflict and they said there’s nothing they can do. More

It’s about the service advisor Westbert Jean , I took the car in for a loud and ticking noise from the engine. He advised me it’s the pulley. He said he’ll give me a $100.00 credit and free washer wipes which I never asked for. When he called to pick up the car I asked for a car wash. He then said the car was already parked outside”. I said I want my car washed. “He said ok” which my car was never washed and I felt insulted because I was told it’s not a hand wash and it’s the rain. I’m not stupid I know how I brought my car in and how I received it . I know the difference. So I took the car today and had it washed because I wasn’t even offer a wash today. On my bill I was charged for $25.00 warranty on I don’t know what and I was charged for the windshield wiper blades. I spoke to a supervisor named Roberto which will give me refund of $100.00 . Which is only right considering it is a rip off what the dealer charges but a Sales Advisor shouldn’t lie to a customer of what they promised. I’m a long term customer owner of two Toyota’s and trust that my needs are fulfilled, but Westbern Jean thought me a lesson read your invoice before leaving. I’m truly disgusted by his advice, and words. If I ever go back to Toyota of North Miami I will refuse the Advisor of Westbert Jean. More

My Nightmare Experience at Toyota of North Miami I wanted to believe the salesman at Toyota of North Miami when he told me the check engine light on the 2023 Chevy Equinox I was buying was an "easy fi wanted to believe the salesman at Toyota of North Miami when he told me the check engine light on the 2023 Chevy Equinox I was buying was an "easy fix." He even gave me his word that if the issue came back, I could simply return the car and get my down payment back. Well, that promise turned out to be completely empty. The check engine light came back, and the dealership was unable to fix it after multiple attempts. When I brought up our verbal agreement, they completely backed out. What happened next was even more shocking. Instead of doing the right thing, they tried to use my situation to make more money. They pressured me to trade up to a used car that was worse than the one I had, or a brand-new car that would have skyrocketed my monthly payment. This wasn't customer service; it was a transparent attempt to exploit a customer who was already in a difficult position. They sold me a problem and then refused to own up to it. This kind of deceptive and dishonest business practice is unacceptable. Do not trust this dealership. More
