Used Car purchase experience with Charles Maund Toyota I bought & took delivery of a used hyundai elantra 2013 from Charles maund on 21st Dec 2015 and yesterday night (6th jan) the car battery failed. I I bought & took delivery of a used hyundai elantra 2013 from Charles maund on 21st Dec 2015 and yesterday night (6th jan) the car battery failed. It is just 17 days since I took the car and the battery failed. When I bought the car, the online ad in charles maund website said it is covered under 30 days warranty and the snapshot/print out of it is even now available with me. I'm now trying to reach out Mr. Wess newmen in service to check out on the 30 day warranty given. Hope this issue would be well addressed to my satisfaction by charles maund representatives. Will keep you posted on further happenings. More
Be careful, not rushing to sign the paper works! I bought a car from Charles Maund Toyota. The finance person (Dave Kerr) in it added an extended warranty in disguise (without saying anything). I got angry and asked them to cancel it. The foolish thing that I committed is rushing to sign the paper works without scrutinizing them. The finance manager (Frank Covington) was saying that the fund will be credited within 2 - 3 weeks but after 8 weeks passed by the refund is never hit my car loan balance. If you want to buy a car from them, you are better being aware and not rushing to sign the paper works. These guys make a ton of money by scamming other unaware buyers like me. Humam Heet promised me to give me a gas card $200.00 and the promise has never been delivered. More

That's why I nearly didn't go to Charles Maund Toyota - many of the most recent reviews raked the dealership over the coals for poor sales and service. I'm happy to state that we had an exceptionally pleasant experience purchasing our new Toyota car. All the sales, finance, service and business folks at Charles Maund Toyota were very helpful, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. And most of all, they were committed - committed to helping us get the best car, committed to helping us get the best deal, committed to helping us get the best experience. As a part of our purchase process, we visited other dealerships of other manufacturers too, and compared to the experience we had at Charles Maund Toyota. Honestly, the other dealerships came across as grumpy & misanthropic compared to how wonderful the folks were at Charles Maund Toyota. Where Toyota went out of their way to meet our needs - and more - others (especially Honda) just seemed to want to be rude, uncooperative and difficult. Our primary sales executive - Mark DeArruda - was amazingly friendly, patient, helpful, understanding and caring. And most of all, he was honest, open and genuine. The other sales, finance and business guys - Jon, Shelley and Coronado - were well-informed, helpful and cooperative. All of them worked in concert to help us get exactly what we needed - their philosophy seemed to be "you should never need to look elsewhere because we're the best". And they tried really, really hard to live up to that doctrine. We've always trusted the Toyota brand for the quality of its cars, and if they continue to maintain this exceptionally high quality of customer service in their post-sales car service, I don't see any reason to go to any other dealer or manufacturer for my future car needs.
