I took my Sienna mini van to Toyota of Newport because I had a broken sliding door handle - they quoted me at $1644.00. I asked why it was so expensive and they said that it was because they had to remove had a broken sliding door handle - they quoted me at $1644.00. I asked why it was so expensive and they said that it was because they had to remove both doors and replace the "internal mechanisms." I thought this seemed high considering it was over a third of the total value of my van so I did some quick research. Turns out that I actually only needed new handles and all the internal parts were fine. It costed $20 for both door handles and it took less than a half hour to install at home without any special tools. Toyota of Newport are pirates and I've heard several stories about them doing this same thing to other people. BEWARE AND STAY CLEAR. More

I’m a single woman newly retired on my own the first trip like this of my life hauling a camper and everything I own. On the first leg of this journey my Toyota tundra who I bought used from a dealer in Washington had its transmission completely die on a Saturday afternoon. Bright and early Monday morning I was at the dealership praying for a miracle, it turned out the entire transmission had to be replaced I was staying in a campground and only had limited time, when Rich in the service department heard my story he rallied every every force, sent out every dog, and pulled in every single favor and he actually performed a miracle! With a full schedule COVID-19 lockdown and people out sick he got my vehicle in with no notice, did all of the repairs and kept it at a price that I was able to manage! I will be forever grateful, ladies this is the place to shop do not buy a vehicle anywhere else! This dealership is worth traveling states to, in order to buy a vehicle and have your vehicle serviced with confidence that all of the people there are really on your side in there to help you. I bought my Highlander from Newport Toyota a little over two years ago. Since then I have had my car serviced by Newport Toyota. Everyone in the Service Department is pleasant and friendly. I have always waited, rather than taking advantage of a ride home, because the service has always been done in about an hour. Otherwise, I would have just gotten home when I’d have to go back to pick up my car. That’s what I call service! I also appreciate the check list that’s provided. More

I have dealt with 7 or 8 service departments in my lifetime and this group is, by far, the best that I have ever dealt with. Sad that the other departments don't live up to the service department's g lifetime and this group is, by far, the best that I have ever dealt with. Incompetent and failed to follow the law We have tried to get our recall repairs made for 2 years now. Only after the virus hit did they finally say they had the parts in. 3 hours after dropp We have tried to get our recall repairs made for 2 years now. Only after the virus hit did they finally say they had the parts in. 3 hours after dropping off our vehicle they called to say they could not work on our car until it was "professionally cleaned and shampooed carpet" because the "dog hair could carry the corona virus". When we picked up our vehicle they refused to make a customer move away from the door so we could leave and allowed another customer to yell at us for even leaving our house if we were so worried about the virus! We later figured out, after we made our appointment at a different dealership, that Toyota of Newport had never ordered the parts to make our 3 recall repairs and that was the real reason they did not repair our vehicle! We called them repeatedly over the 2 year period trying to get the defective airbags and faulty doors that were on recall repaired. NEVER again will we buy from this Toyota or have repairs made. We own 3 Toyota's and are currently searching for a 4th vehicle, wanting to purchase brand new but we will NOT be purchasing from Toyota of Newport or Corvallis (same owner) after this total runaround and failure to follow the 6 foot social distancing laws! ..........................Regarding that, they refused to make a young male move away from the only exit after we asked and he refused and they refused to step in when another young male began screaming at us for even leaving our home to pick up our vehicle. Absolute incompetence and a failure to protect a 76 year old woman and her health, even though they are required to provide 6 feet social distancing! PS. the loaner vehicle they provided stated on the digital screen it gave 50.5 mpg. We drove 32 miles in the vehicle (to Siletz and back) and had to purchase 1.5 gallons of fuel to fill the tank. The car absolutely did NOT get 50.5 miles per gallon, not anywhere near that, that is 23 miles per gallon, so they LIE about that too! More
