This dealership has gone downhill. Rotors had to be turned and after picking up my wife’s car the brakes made more noise than ever. Their excuse, the blade needed to be sharpened - what? Why wasn’t this discovered when they took it for a test drive? Then when the tires were rotated two of the custom valve stem caps were missing. That wasn’t by accident. This service department is nothing like it used to be. I was very generous with two stars. Wish a Toyota dealership would come closer to Peachtree City. More
Worked with this dealership 6 years ago and was disapointed then and disapointed now. We purchased our 2021 4 Runner Limited from Newnan Peachtree CDJR last year. Was forced to take it to Toyota of Newnan to repair a Warranty item on the ABS system. First off I knew the issue was a factory issue because it has happened to over 40 thousand 2019-2021 Toyota vehicles . The service writer asked if there were any alterations ,upgrades and or off-roading that the vehicle has been in? I said what difference does it make ? she said they wont cover if any signs of that exists Our car is as factory as it was when we bought it . and IT is a 4x4 off road vehicle . It says it right on the side!! Not only did they say it would have to be left for up to 3 weeks they only offered a rental courtesy car.. SO I said excuse me and I stepped out the door and called the front desk and asked for the Manager of the dealership. I explained I was in the service writers area and all of the xx they were saying.. It took him 10 minuted to go in there and basically take over . They gave us a loaner and apologized. He said he dont have alot of say over the service department but that was ridicules .. These people 6 years ago find every way to suck every bit of money they can . THey take soooo long so by the time you get to the paperwork you just sign and leave.. Make sure you watch them like a HAWK if you do business with them. They will SCAM you and make you feel brainwashed More
I was there a couple of days ago, I was not pleased with the service. The windshield fluid was not filled. My tire pressure light remained on. My tires were supposed to be rotated. I took my Rav-4 in for 10000 mile service which includes oil change and tire rotation. When I got home I noticed that the tires had not been rotated. I had previously lost the valve stem cap on the left fro oil change and tire rotation. When I got home I noticed that the tires had not been rotated. I had previously lost the valve stem cap on the left front tire. The other three still had the caps on. Guess which tire is still missing the cap. Yep, the left front!!! Makes me wonder what else they conveniently forgot to do!!! The paperwork says that over two dozen checks were made to my car. Now you’ve got me wondering how many of the checks were done service by simply checking the appropriate box. Never mind, I’ll check them myself! More
I brought my car in for routine service in Dec 2021. They were to change the oil, top off the fluids, rotate tires, inspect brakes, and do their multi-point vehicle inspection on the car, which only ha They were to change the oil, top off the fluids, rotate tires, inspect brakes, and do their multi-point vehicle inspection on the car, which only had 5000 miles at the time. Fine. All was good. Around 6 months later, after only driving the car 700 miles, I was needing to jump my other car that had a dead battery, so I opened up the hood. I found the positive battery cover off and the coolant reservoir empty (dry) and the windshield washer fluid very low. Had I not looked, my car probably would have overheated not too long after. I called the service center and brought the car in. They proceeded to do a full inspection of the water pump, radiator, etc. and found no leak. Duh. We all know what happened. They never completed the service in December. I got some stupid explanation of maybe an air bubble of sorts that caused the coolant reservoir to be empty. Yeah, right. They added coolant and washer fluid. I had put the battery cover back already. I can no longer trust them, but have a couple more years on my "free"service agreement with them. I will have to check under the hood before leaving their facility when it is serviced again. This is totally unacceptable. More
Took my Tundra in for 85,000 mile service, front and rear differential replacement, and transmission fluid replacement. When my vehicle was done I decided to check my oil for before I left and the dipstick w differential replacement, and transmission fluid replacement. When my vehicle was done I decided to check my oil for before I left and the dipstick was dry. I asked my service advisor (Autumn) if she knew which mechanic worked on my truck. I told her to have a different mechanic check everything that I had just paid to have them replace. To be clear, she was and has been great but, I don't trust the mechanics there. I'm in the process of replacing everything myself now. It very frustrating. I have a cross country trip coming up and don't want to rely on their work. This took place on April 29, 2022. Order # 0387959 and paid $547.12 I cannot recommend the Newnan, GA Toyota service center. This whole thing was swept under the rug. No manager came out to talk to me or called to apologize. More
Awful! Bought tires at a Toyota dealership in FL. Came with a tire warranty as part of the purchase. I’ve since moved to PTC. Got a nail in the tire and called the Newman dealer to inquire about my warran with a tire warranty as part of the purchase. I’ve since moved to PTC. Lady told me, on the phone, there is “NO warranty” on tires purchased at dealer.Then said, “well, you have to have evidence of tire rotations according to manufacturer schedule and no unusual wear and there are just a lot of variables “. I knew I was being swindled and asked to look up our account by giving her our phone number. She asked if I bought the tires at the Newman dealer and I replied that I had not. She said she would not have access to our vehicle account from a different dealer. Hahahahaha!!!! You’ve got to be kidding me! It was like dealing with a cheating, greasy, fast Eddy type dealer. I’m SO THANKFUL that service at Discount Tire in PTC was off the charts fantastic!!! My whole family drives only Toyotas. We love the manufacturer but will never deal with this dealer. Wife wants to buy a new vehicle to replace her aging 4Runner for upcoming birthday. I’d drive to the moon to do business anywhere but at the Newman Toyota dealer. Sadly, poor service is becoming common in the marketplace but this was an extreme example of it! I still can’t believe it! No need to reach out to me. I’m a customer driven by service and integrity, not cost. You’ve absolutely lost me. More
Avoid this dealership Took my 2012 Toyota Prius there because coolant was disappearing daily. I scheduled another appointment to bring the car in to have the water pump replaced. On the pre-scheduled service date I was told that the water pump was not ordered, they topped off the coolant again. I was told it was OK to continue to drive the vehicle to just keep an eye on the coolant level daily. 2 Days later the Head gasket on the car blew, causing catastrophic engine damage. Avoid this dealership, as a matter of fact avoid Toyota products. After contacting Toyota USA I was told that they are very sorry for what happened and I was offered $ 1000.00 toward the purchase of a new Toyota vehicle. In the past 8 years I have purchased 5 Toyota vehicles from various dealerships. Toyota has lost me as a Customer and an advocate of the brand. More
