Service department has scheduling problem. I am tired of having to wait 2 hrs for a scheduled sersvice. They overbook and penalize customers who make appointments by taking those who show up without appointments. If I did not have a prepaid maintenance plan, I would take my 4th Toyota to another dealer. Oh, and BTW, they never fail to try to upsell me on unnecessary service. More
Have a 2023 Toyota Venza that still has "free" factory oil changes and tire rotations that we actually paid for during the car's purchase. Every time car was brought to Toyota of Newnan, they will always try to upsell engine air filters, cabin filters, hybrid battery air filters and EFI induction/throttle body cleaning when my vehicle never needed them. I happen to be a retired Toyota Lexus Master technician of 35 years and religiously inspect all filters before bringing my car there. Once, they were suppose to rotate my tires and never did. I fortunately took pictures of each tire and location on vehicle based on valve stem to tire markings. They argued with me that they did rotate them until I showed them my pictures. Then finally 20 minutes later, they told me they reviewed shop camera footage and finally admitted they were never rotated. I can only imagine how many other times this happens to unaware customers! Their parts department charges over 110 percent for all parts that I have purchased compared with other area dealerships also. They try to get you coming and going! I understand the games played here with Toyota owners bringing their vehicles here for service and parts working in the industry for so long and seeing many shady practices over the years. I feel it is my responsibility to warn other Toyota owners of these attitudes and practices going on here. I sometimes feel like standing out front with signs warning customers of these unfair and unnecessary services and expenses. More

I went in to get my tundra serviced and was looking at four runners to maybe swap in the back of my mind and I dealt with Byron Darby, who is a top-notch sales guy. He was very knowledgeable and did his job well Beyond my expectations and then my service was with Gustavo, who is explicitly knowledgeable about everything in the service department from top to bottom, these two are great assets to Newnan of Toyota. If you buy a car from Toyota of Newnan be prepared to get tons of text messages trying to get you to trade your vehicle in so they can put it on their "pre-owned lot." They will overfill your oil (if they change it at all), leave tire stem caps off when they check your tire pressure (and won't return it), and your hood prop rod will be hanging down into the engine of your car because they slam the hood down of the car. OVERFILLING THE OIL IN A CAR CAN RUIN THE ENGINE. If you get service done here, especially an oil change, check the oil before you leave the lot! Be prepared to see oil stains in the inside of your car. Too xxxx sloppy to clean up after themselves. Not sure where they get these mechanics from - definitely NOT Toyota or Lexus Certified. Toyota of Newnan unfortunately only cares about the numbers - its a game - it doesn't matter that these cars are people's livelihoods to get places. The goal is to mess your car up so you can buy a new one in their showroom! Unfortunately, they give Toyota a bad name. Will continue to love Toyota, just NOT TOYOTA OF NEWNAN. Service your car here at your own risk! You have been warned! Even in the SALES department - THE PRICES OF THE CARS ARE DIFFERENT ONLINE THAN WHAT IS DISPLAYED IN PERSON! If it doesn't sound right, DON'T DO IT! Trust your own instincts! Told service manager to look up Toyota of Newnan's OWN reviews posted- basically telling them that this wasn't just a one time incident. Service manager doesn't give a crap, and said "many people across America will give bad reviews", as if to brush off the HORRIBLE experience that was endured here. If you want to buy a car from here and be treated like DIRT, this is the place for you! More
I have purchased 4 vehicles from this dealer. 1 used and 3 new. Just took my 2003 Tacoma in for oil change and 4 wheel alignment. While they had it back in service. The advisor came to me and sai 1 used and 3 new. Just took my 2003 Tacoma in for oil change and 4 wheel alignment. While they had it back in service. The advisor came to me and said the mechanic suggested i needed new air filter and wipers. Funny thing is just 4 days before this appt I replaced both. I told the advisor and she went back to check and sure enough the mechanic never even looked at air filter. Also he said I would beed to replace my oil pan gasket and header gaskets. Said I was leaking oil. Another funny thing, I had the engine rebuilt just 6 months prior for this reason. Well needless to say it hasnt leaked since then. Nothing on driveway or on garage floor. They said well it may not have been cleaned of engine. So I do not think I will be back for service on any of my vehicles. 2003 Tacoma 381k miles 2013 Tundra. 220k miles 2015 Rav 4. 140k miles 2021 4 Runner. 75k miles As you can see we keep and maintain our cars for a long time!!!! My mileage from when I brought it in and when I left should have been the same, but it was mores miles. I can't verify my suspicion, but I will not be taking my truck back to Newnan Toyota for service again. I may not even consider them for a new vehicle. More
