Service manager gave an invoice, explained everything, and then later changed all the prices. Had to pay double the original price as didn't honor the original price. My journey began around Nov 7th. I was inquiring about a new black Camry XSE V6 that was on the lot. After texting and talking to Tariq, I was ready to get it only to find out that the car was already sold new black Camry XSE V6 that was on the lot. After texting and talking to Tariq, I was ready to get it only to find out that the car was already sold and the dealership must have not updated the webpage or it wasn't reflecting on the webpage. Okay, moving on. A dark grey XSE V6 with black interior. "It's not ours but we can get it" Wouldn't tell me where the car was located, which I understand because they don't want to lose the potential sell to another dealer. Some people may do business like that but I don't and was upfront about it. I just wanted to confirm that the car was physically at a location, how many miles it was from their lot, X amount of time to acquire and get to the dealership, that way I could do some planning. After agreeing that we want the car, I was told that "We need a $500 deposit to secure and acquisition the vehicle. Few days pass, no big deal. I'm already approved by my bank, gave the $500 deposit only to find out that that car was sold! I'm thinking that I just gave you the money as a deposit, it's a sure sell as we've already agreed on price. I would think as soon as the deposit is secured, the car would be secured as well but no, it was sold. 2 XSE V6's sold. I actually did a review after the first car was sold and 3 different sale people had contacted me with the same questions (communications) but contacted Dealerrater and asked them to remove the review because I wanted to give it a fair shake being that Tariq had found the dark grey XSE V6. Well, the car sold and I said easy day, we'd be moving onto another dealer and we want our deposit returned as I'm not waiting another month to find a vehicle and have that one sold out from under me as well. I've got a full time job, a family, things to do and it feels like I was being dragged along. 2 days pass, I send a text that we're still waiting on our deposit to be returned. I get a phone call from the dealership, it goes to voicemail and no voicemail left. I then a text that he wanted me to call him back because he had shredded the numbers to the CC and I'm assuming that he wanted me to call him back to give him the numbers to return my deposit. It's not my first car deal, it's common knowledge that getting the customer on the phone is half the battle and once that is achieved, you're "golden". Whether the intent was to drag me along and do the sale person/customer "wine and dine" or not, it's how the customer perceives the service or lack of respect. Had the money been returned and my intelligence not insulted, the review would have been no where this scathing. I'm very disappointed as I thought that I was going to get great and straight forward service per the reviews on this site, only to get the opposite. More

Of the offers in the mailing; 'up to $12,400 for my trade-in', '90 days no payment', '0% APR financing', and '$6,660 off MSRP', the only one that would have been honored would have been the 0% financing - if I was willing to give up the $3,000 discount! I purchased this car all online and on the phone. After some negotiations we reached a deal that met what I was looking for. Barry Apland was very fair and worked hard to sell me my car. I've owned nothing but Toyota vehicles for 20+ years and my most recent service experience at this dealership severely damaged my opinion of the brand. We purchased a used 2018 Sienna minivan with 14k mile my most recent service experience at this dealership severely damaged my opinion of the brand. We purchased a used 2018 Sienna minivan with 14k miles from them in November 2019. We received a recall notice in June 2020 so we promptly scheduled an appointment to get it addressed. While we had it in we asked that they look at the glove box door which annoyingly would sag open every other day regardless of how it was closed. The vehicle had 31k miles at this time so we had every expectation any repair would be covered under warranty. They efficiently tended to the recall repair but told us we needed to slam the glove box door harder to keep it from sagging back open. I told them this was not an acceptable answer and they encouraged me to call corporate customer service because they wouldn't do anything for me. Subsequently with the assistance of corporate we ended up making 6 more trips back to the dealership over which time they changed their story claiming we had somehow warped the face of the door. Furthermore I was told warranty does not cover any item that shows wear. Mind you the door showed no signs of wear other than some light surface scratches that were on it when we purchased it. In the end, with the assistance of corporate, we got the glove box door replaced but this was an excruciatingly difficult experience and I would strongly discourage anyone from using this dealership if you have another option.
