Terrible customer service in the service department I have purchased 3 Toyota Avalon’s touring addition from this dealership a 2009 , 2013 , and a 2017 . I have always had a great experience every time I have purchased 3 Toyota Avalon’s touring addition from this dealership a 2009 , 2013 , and a 2017 . I have always had a great experience every time I have been in from start to finish that is why I have continued to return. I can advise that I will not return and I will drive all the way to the Nashville Toyota to get all of my pre paid service completed from here going forward due to the service I have recently gotten. On my visit in 2013 I have the privilege of working with Mr. Obeissy the Owner on the purchase of my 2013 Toyota Avalon. He made me feel very important and helped me in any way he could and did. We talked extensively on the new build of this dealership and I was valued as a customer so I always returned. Service was top notch as well. Tyler Bowen sold me my 2017 Toyota Avalon and again he was awesome , personable , professional and courteous . Again service was top notch thus far until now. I have recently had the worst experience in the service department and it’s not acceptable . My boyfriend came in the first time for them to look at a possible defective part . He spoke to the service manager and he stated that it’s not a warranty part but he would order me a new one because it should not have done that. A part was ordered due to it being faulty. They never called to let me know the part was in . I called several weeks later to verify if the part was in , and they stated it was to come in to get it . ($80 part door seal) I sent my boyfriend in to pick it up . Once he arrived in the parts department they stated they had to install it due to it being a warranty part and they would have to send back the defective parts, so he returned the next day for the install. He waited for about 2 hours for them to tell him they ordered the wrong part and would have to re order the correct part. During this time a service adviser kept telling him you can’t step on this part , not once but 3 times and insinuated I was the one who broke it and they were doing me a favor. I have 10k miles on this car and it’s in prime condition and well kept. My boyfriend went on to explain that my neighbor cut her leg on this part because it grabbed her pants leg as she got in and there is no way to step on this part to enter the car. The adviser kept insisting he was doing me a favor and my boyfriend said look I’ve been here for over 2 hours at this point I’m really just ready to go and he left . 1 week later I called to check on this part and they stated that the service manager cancelled my order due to the way my boyfriend acted in the service department. That’s crazy my boyfriend is very meek and did not act in any way that would warrant such poor customer service. My boyfriend is not the customer I am and at the least the manager should have called me to explain his thought process in making this decision .let’s say my boyfriend did act in an unacceptable way the 3 times he had to come to this dealership and waited 2 hrs or better needlessly. This manager should have called and stated ,look we have re ordered this part but due to the circumstances please bring your car in for installation yourself but he didn’t. I had to call for 2 weeks talking to several different people to get this resolved. Needless to say nothing was resolved and I was advised to call Toyota directly to see what they can do for me . Really? 3 $40k cars on an $80 part. That just does not settle well with me . More

He took care of everything with Toyota for us to make sure we got exactly what we needed for our family. Even though he was swamped busy with the customers they had coming in he did it in a timely manner and made sure to fully explain everything to us and go completely into detail to make sure we were 100% satisfied and happy. Totally worth the drive I would recommend that dealership to anyone for that exact reason. More

We previously bought 1 vehicle and leased 1 vehicle from this dealership and had a great experience. Our sales guy, Josh Arnold, told us that the car had Entune with navigation, we would just need to download the app when we got home. We bought the car on a Monday and didn’t get home until after 10pm. I commute over an hour to work and work 10 hours most days so we didn’t try to “download the app” until Thursday. We couldn’t figure it out. Josh told us to engage him if had any issues so we did. He sent us a few links and we still couldn’t figure it out so we called the corporate Toyota experience team. It turns out the car we bought doesn’t have in dash navigation availability. The corporate team sent it to the Toyota of Murfreesboro customer experience team. They offered to replace the car with a lesser car - I have the AWD version and they wanted to downgrade the car to the regular FWD with navigation. I didn’t want that. They offered to replace the In dash audio / back up camera system with an after market navigation, I agreed to that. Then they came back and told me that wasn’t an option, it will void the warranty. Why didn’t they do the research before offering the solution. Now they want to provide me with a garmin GPS. I JUST PAID $30K FOR THIS CAR! I am so irritated. Sales people used to be trusted advisors who have earned commission because of the value they added. Obviously that’s not what’s going on at Toyota of Murfreesboro. Beware and don’t trust what your told here. Feeling swindled is awful! This was our go to dealership but we will not go back and we will advise others to avoid them as well. More
