I purchased my 2019 Toyota Avalon in August 2018, and I had the front and rear brakes replaced in September 2025. Now, less than a year later, I am being told that I need to replace the brakes again. I fin had the front and rear brakes replaced in September 2025. Now, less than a year later, I am being told that I need to replace the brakes again. I find this extremely concerning and confusing, as I drove the vehicle for approximately 7 years before needing brake replacements, and it is unreasonable to be advised to replace them so soon after the recent service. When I asked the service advisor how this was possible, he was unable to provide an explanation. Additionally, I was charged $400 for a single tire. When the service writer brought my car around, he mentioned there was an issue with my tire pressure monitoring system. When I inquired why this wasn’t checked or addressed since the tire was replaced, I was told that diagnosing the issue would incur an additional fee of over $200. This is unacceptable, considering I already paid $400 for just one tire, and I expected a more comprehensive service. Not to mention, I had to wait two hours for the replacement tire despite having an appointment, which added unnecessary inconvenience to the experience. I am disappointed with both the service recommendations and the charges, which seem unreasonable and lack transparency. More
