Brought my truck to check why all the warning lights were coming on they said I need a new battery $400 which I doubted but agreed to be done . One day later and all the lights are back on so obviously not t coming on they said I need a new battery $400 which I doubted but agreed to be done . One day later and all the lights are back on so obviously not the battery this time they said it was a dusty brake sensor they cleaned and a few day later all lights back on again ! This time they said they would get me a loaner while they had it checked by someone who might know what he’s doing but they would call me back ! Two weeks has gone by I have called the girl handling my truck but she never responded to my voice mails and when I finally got through to her she said she would call me back in 15 minutes, that was a week ago so I called the service manager but keep getting his/ hers voice mail and again no response. Worst dealership ever. More
Terrible experience. Brought my car in for a service. My car smelt like cigarettes so bad after the service which I let them know. Also they “found a leak” in a cylinder Brought my car in for a service. My car smelt like cigarettes so bad after the service which I let them know. Also they “found a leak” in a cylinder in my engine. It was under warranty so I said go through with it. They found the leak was coming from a part that’s not under warranty. They said it would be almost a $3,000 fix. I said no since they couldn’t even provide me with a professional estimate write up with part numbers and an explanation. Do not go here. Takes at least 3 hours for a car service. Multiple service assistants are not proficient in explaining work on vehicles. More
I bought a keep from this dealership about 8 months ago and along with that I purchased a vehicle service warranty (which I still have not received a copy of) I have gone to get an oil change and also to h and along with that I purchased a vehicle service warranty (which I still have not received a copy of) I have gone to get an oil change and also to have my tires rotated only to be told the service is not included with the service because I have a non Toyota vehicle ( I guess because American lug nuts are different?) I sat down and spoke with Willy, who bold face lied to me and told me that this service was included. When I went to speak with the service department, this lady also went to confirm, only to be told the opposite. BEWARE BUYING ANYTHING FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Unless you get anything in writing believe nothing they say!!!!!! More
I bought my Highlander from Toyota of Massapequa. I was happy with the sale back then. It came time for service and I had an issue with my AC line draining. Let me tell you, I got an appointment righ I was happy with the sale back then. It came time for service and I had an issue with my AC line draining. Let me tell you, I got an appointment right away from Adrian. Nick, the Service Director was away when my car was there but kept me updated on its progress and instructed John to take great care of me. I was blown away by the service that I have received. We have a Highlander and Camry and bring both vehicles there for service. They really take care of the customer and truly care. It is rare to find today, especially on Long Island. Completely satisfied. I referred my sister to Toyota of Massapequa for the purchase of her Sienna and she was also extremely happy with the sale. We are a Toyota of Massapequa family for life! Thank you to Adrian, Nick and John for the love and incredible service. More
Can you say fraud? Purchased a tire and wheel package in April and they have yet sent the money and contract to Toyota Financial Services two months later. Why?! Unbelievable! When I told Willie in finance April and they have yet sent the money and contract to Toyota Financial Services two months later. Why?! Unbelievable! When I told Willie in finance that I was going to post that they did this he said “ok good”. What a great customer service attitude! I originally went to this dealership because I wanted to support a dealership that has employees that look like me however the ones that don’t look like me there still don’t know how to treat you after you purchase the car. Their follow up customer service sucks! The woman who answers customer service’s phone her name starts with an “A” does not listen well and neither does Willie. More
I just had the WORST experience with a Toyota dealership EVER! This horrible experience was with the service department at Toyota of Massapequa in Seaford, NY. I had brought my car in to take care of a kn EVER! This horrible experience was with the service department at Toyota of Massapequa in Seaford, NY. I had brought my car in to take care of a known issue that Toyota is well aware of. They are so aware of the issue that they have issued a Technical Service Bulletin (T-SB-0116-20) to explain to their technicians on how to fix it. This issue is that the weather stripping around the sunroof starts to peel off and deteriorate. I wanted to have this taken care of BEFORE my sunroof starts to leak as the seals are already starting to leak. Mind you, it is Feb. 2021, and this is a 2018 Camry with under 34k miles. Oh yeah, I also purchased this car directly from another Toyota dealership as a CERTIFIED Pre-owned Toyota. With that certification comes a one year, 12k mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, as well as the multi-year powertrain warranty. I brought my car in before this expired. As part of the service bulletin, new weather stripping needs to be ordered, and the part number is listed in the bulletin. I did not want to have to wait at the dealership knowing that they would have to order the parts. So, I pulled into the service center drive-up and explained to the first employee that I wanted to have a service advisor or manager just take a look at the peeling of weather stripping so that they can order the parts and then I would schedule an appointment to have it replaced when they got it in. He brought me to the service desk where my problems began. Dealing with SEBASTIAN, he would not just come out to take a quick look (would literally have taken less than 30 seconds to see these horrible weather strippings) He said it is a whole process and I would have to either wait with the car, or leave the car. I asked how long it would be, and he said maybe an hour or so. I asked if he would just come outside to take a look, it would literally take seconds, and he said no, that it was a process, that they werent just going to start ordering parts. Again, I stressed how quickly the observation would be but he still wouldnt look at the car. So I reluctantly said I would wait for the car to be looked at. While in the waiting area, I could see them drive my car to a spot and park it. BEFORE anyone came to look at the car, a service advisor ANGEL came up to me and asked me if I wanted them to give me a quote for the repairs. I questioned why I would want a quote for something that should be covered under warranty, and he said that they would not be covering it as it was a wear and tear item. I told him that I believed him to be wrong, that I had the TSB explaining that there was an issue with the part. He told me I was not going to be helped, and because I did not purchase the car from them, that he wasn't willing to help me. I told him I was dumbfounded that I would not get the same courtesy that someone who purchased a car from them would get. He suggested I contact the out-of-state dealership that I had purchased the car from and tell them "that they owe me for weather stripping." With that I asked for me keys back, said I would never return to this dealership, and left. Shortly after leaving, SEBASTIAN at the service desk sent me a text message asking if I had any questions. I said I did, I wanted to know the name of the person I had spoken with, but he never replied. Instead, I had to look up his name on their website. I have never received such uncourteous service from a Toyota dealership in my life. Mind you, the part that should have been replaced, is under $20, and takes less than an hour to do. More
We bought our 2020 RAV4 Hybrid in August. Toyota of Massapequa didn't have the model/trim we wanted, but Ritu pro-actively located the car for us and had it brought to the dealership. Megan was a wonde Massapequa didn't have the model/trim we wanted, but Ritu pro-actively located the car for us and had it brought to the dealership. Megan was a wonderful salesperson, showing us the car, answering all our questions, and handling every aspect of the purchase seamlessly on our behalf. Jorge did a great job arranging the financing. We brought the car in for servicing on Dec. 5. The issue was not due to a Toyota defect -- a rodent had chewed some wiring in the engine. We first had the car checked at a different Toyota dealership closer to our home, but we were not satisfied with their diagnostic and quote. Then we brought the car to Toyota of Massapequa. Angel and Curtis provided us with outstanding customer service. They saw to it that a more detailed and accurate diagnostic was performed which resulted in a significantly lower and fairer quote for the repair work! The repairs were done quickly and much to our satisfaction. We are appreciative of all the technicians and staff members who assisted us. Going forward, we intend to always bring our car to Toyota of Massapequa for any routine maintenance or repairs! More
Where do I begin...Let’s start with Stuart Barnett; professional, knowledgeable and such a nice guy. We put together a deal on a 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-road that blew away all the local dealerships.
