This is my true experience with the Toyota of Massapequa dealership. I had an appointment at 07:00 PM but was able to make to the dealership by 06:10 pm. I asked the dealership if all those cars were still available for sale, multiple times in a day and they told me yes, every single time. As soon as I met the salesperson Mr. Willy Nunez, my first question to him was to confirm the availability of the 1st preferred car and he told yes even after twenty minutes once he checked with his used Car sales manager. When the conversation began about the numbers, out of nowhere he said that the car was sold. For most of the questions asked, I was told that I need to check with Toyota. I was expecting better and clear answers here. Now the second comes the financing part. The Finance director Mr. Sal Iqbal told us a lot of baloney, one of which was in order to get the loan approved, a purchase of $400.00 from 4000more.com (a policy that would cover up to $4000.00 of a depreciated car value in an event of accident) and the second thing was that Gap insurance of cost $200.00 was mandatory (which I can get it from my insurance as well). Disappointingly I was asked to pay $1000 in advance before they discuss any financing options with me. So I had no other choice than buying these two unnecessary items. He also tried to sell a bumper-to-bumper warranty which was about $3,500.00. 4000 more is a local company and did not even have one single google review. As we know the entire purchase process is time consuming and as a buyer I was keeping patience even though it was getting late for me as well, but the used car sales manager Mr. Jose Dilone looked very frustrated that we took long time for the purchase, and he wanted us to leave ASAP. Why did they give an appointment so late if they are not willing to stay late to complete the process? License plates transfer thing was so funny that the sales guy first said that they are transferable and after an hour, he said that new plates must be obtained after checking with the DMV person in the dealer ship. It was so confusing all time. I was provided a direct cell no. and when I tiered to reach out to the same next week of the purchase, it never answered. After 1-2 weeks of the purchase I called the dealership and the billing department told me that in transit permit was valid for 6 weeks. As a matter of fact, it was only valid for 30 days. When I requested to extend for another 15 days the answer was a clear NO. The attitude of the people in the dealership after the car was sold changed drastically. After multiple requests they provided me a letter regarding that my registration process is in progress with DMV. I called the Bank that car loan was obtained from, and they told me my account has not been setup yet. When I called the finance office of the dealership, he was mad that I contacted the bank for account details. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. Well had I known then what I know now, I would have considered Toyota of Massapequa. We were interested in purchasing a 2021 Highlander and Toyota of Massapequa had the blueprint color that I was looking for. I called and spoke to the sales manager, Brian. Brian assisted and put me in touch with Hassan. If those two could rule the world. I got the call at 1PM on a Thursday and drove home at 5PM the same day. The entire process was simple and painless and even during a pandemic, I received an amazing deal. I was absolutely floored. As someone who is a Hudson Valley native, the stigma around Long Island dealers needs to be put to rest and that all starts with Toyota of Massapequa. I LOVE my new Highlander! After owning 4 Jeeps, I am proud to say we are now and always will be a 2 Toyota family. I cannot wait to bring both vehicles in for service and say hello to both Brian and Hassan. Professionalism, Courtesy and Kindness are the words that come to mind when describing Toyota of Massapequa. More

Can you say fraud? Purchased a tire and wheel package in April and they have yet sent the money and contract to Toyota Financial Services two months later. Why?! Unbelievable! I originally went to this dealership because I wanted to support a dealership that has employees that look like me however the ones that don’t look like me there still don’t know how to treat you after you purchase the car. Their follow up customer service sucks! The woman who answers customer service’s phone her name starts with an “A” does not listen well and neither does Willie. More

The finance person lied to me saying that my interest rate would go up if I didn't buy the extended warranty 4. They wont let me cancel the extended warranty unless 30 days have passed. But on the Toyota website it says that I can get a full refund if I cancel it within 30 days after purchasing. More
Went to purchase a Prius prime which has a $5000 customer incentive from the factory, Was informed by Ritu who I believe is in charge of internet sales and salesman Tysheen that the Prius Prime is now selli incentive from the factory, Was informed by Ritu who I believe is in charge of internet sales and salesman Tysheen that the Prius Prime is now selling for $40,000 which is $5000 above list price. They claim that the price has risen because of the chip shortage and that this is market price. I wasted my time traveling here and would not even give them a counter offer. Prius Prime cars are still available at many dealers at or below list price. More
