After having a car totaled, I was in need of a new car, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted. After a lot of test drives--and a lot of patience from my salesperson--I got the car I wanted. I felt like I got special treatment throughout the process, especially since I took a lot of time to finally make my choice. And I ended up driving away very satisfied. So wouldn't you know, my family's other car needed some work soon after. I took my car to Grossinger and got the repairs I needed. The work was done in a timely manner and without breaking the bank. Again, I felt like I got special treatment. They'll continue to get my business! More

What a bunch of crap. This dealer commits bate and switch or is not on the up and up. The salesperson was very nice and kind. I drove over an hour to purchase the car was quote unquote being used by the owners daughter as a demo. So I give them a week so I can buy it after all a reputable dealer would not advertise unless the car was actually for sale. The General Manager is going to call the owners and get the car in that is an internet posted special deal. The next day the sales person calls me and told me the car is off the internet special and hung up the phone and left me hanging. This in my book is terrible service and treating me a repeat customer like a piece of junk. I was very surprised the dealer of Grossinger name on it would suck this bad. More
The Grossinger GM blamed Toyota Financial Services for increasing my lease payment on a 2012 Camry from $199 to $249 a month. I researched it and TFS's Christy Morales wrote me to say Grossinger included increasing my lease payment on a 2012 Camry from $199 to $249 a month. I researched it and TFS's Christy Morales wrote me to say Grossinger included the sales taxes in the lease deal to account for the increase. The deal was a trade in of my 2010 Camry lease, no money out of pocket, and $199 a month payment for a 2012 Camry lease. They cost me an additional $1,800 over the life of the lease because they cannot keep their word on an agreed upon deal. At first I thought it was too good to be true, so I called in and spoke to the general manager, Irving. He told me that actually if I wanted that price it's only 60 months for 0%... Whatever, fair enough. I asked him to double check again because my drive there would be over an hour and I'll be definitely buying the car. He assured me that everything was as it's written. When we came there, we got a completely different story. In order to get that price and the financing you had to have met all the Toyota incentive programs, plus pay in cash. It's straight up impossible. How can I get the $750 cash payment incentive and also finance for 60 months. They gave me a runaround while I was there, and to the point where the manager told me to my face that I was lying and he never told me that the price was as described in the ad. Needless to say we just left and didn't waste our time. I could see that they were a scummy dealership a soon as they switched the pricing on us. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. STAY AWAY! More

This dealer will get never get my repeat business. Erwin, the GM, Cerry, the finance manager, Manny and Andy, the sales people gave me an additional $49 per month on my lease payment because they cannot kee the GM, Cerry, the finance manager, Manny and Andy, the sales people gave me an additional $49 per month on my lease payment because they cannot keep a deal. They blamed Toyota Financial Services for putting me in a higher financing tier. Toyota wrote me and explained that Grossinger added the sales tax which accounted for the increased monthly payment. Their lies cost me an additional $1,800 over the life of the lease. Go somewhere else. More
I have never been treated soo bad before!!! My Prius stalled the other day, had the car towed to this dealership. I was leaving for a vacation which I needed to drive that car. When I picked up the car they told me I had a stick in my air manifold and cost $359.00 to get out!!!! When I got home with the car my father looked at the air manifold to only find out the bolt that was holding the manifold together was corroded shut!!!! They are the biggest rip off and I will be contacting the owner! More
I was visiting Grossinger Toyota on Friday 02/10/2012. I don't agree with service and price of their service. On the beginning I said many times that I needed only what was necessarily! I paid 362$ for things: - remove brake fluid - flush system with chemical additive to remove all chemical additives and install fresh valvoline brake fluid - synpower complete fuel system injector cleaner and throttle body cleaner and gas additive complete. I called Toyota customer service and I told about everything. I was one more time in Grossinger Toyota Service. I met service director. I told him that I should be treating good and fair. He told me literally, but this is not quotation, nobody is treating fair right now. I told service director that I came here and I trusted you (Grossinger Toyota Service) and he said that, I should have watched what mechanics were doing witch my car and asked about everything. It was service director words! I should got a form with estimate price and labor instruction. This document should have my signature, signature is not mine. They faked my signature.Total invoice price is different from estimate price. I told service director that I needed copy of that document and I got it. When I come to service I don't know what is going wrong with my car. I'm not an expert, mechanic. I bought my car in Grossinger Toyota Lincolnwood and I trusted those people. In my opinion it was not fair. I asked at the end what should be a fair price and service director and adviser told me that price should be 62$. I read a lot of web pages about Toyota Grossinger in Lincolnwood and opinions were horrible. I'm not sure if Grossinger Toyota service did what they wrote in invoice. I have sent complain to Better Business Bureau, General Attorney Office and Federal Trade Commission. If you have problem with Toyota Grossinger do this same: write review, write complain to BBB, General Attorney, FTC and go to Lincolnwood Police Station. More
I would give minus star if possible. They advertise 2012 toyota camry for $16,702 on black friday 2011. I was there first in line standing there since 11 PM night before. When they let people in they did not give ticket to anyone and after 10 minutes of computer work sales person said they sold that car and that was the only one on sale for that price. Other people acknowledge that I was first person in line. According to advertisement it says "First Come Basis" and the manager Mark told me I was sixth i.e. 5 sales person brought deal before. Does this mean "First Cone Basis"? This means my faith is on sales person's hand not me. I have even offered CC buy and done the deal with. Other people waiting in the line with me I talked to are of the opinion they did not fair good deal for this and it was not transparent. This is ridiculous and pathetic professionalism. Even after explaining that I was there since 11 PM night before, the response was just pathetic and they tell you "happy thanksgiving". People work here dont even know the meaning of it I guess. I would not deal with any of GROSSINGER dealer or would do everything in my power to stop my friend/relative/someone close to not do business with them. More
