When asked about accessories for a new car, the sales staff had no idea about availability either and gave an estimate of 2-3 months. Although the trim and colour of the Crown I wanted was available at other dealers, they insisted that I would not be able to get it. The test drive experience around the parking garage is a joke. Was not able to get a feel for the car at all. The hybrid battery was completely drained, so was unable to test EV mode. Overall, a poor experience and I will be going a few miles out to shop at another Toyota dealer. More

Sent multiple emails for purchase price and finally got an answer. Drive over 3 hours the next day and after a lot of scrambling I finally took it for a test drive. The extra 5k was for a LoJack they installed along with some protective coating. Neither of which I need or want. They suggested trying other finance options to include the extra costs. They had valeted my other vehicle so I couldn't even leave. After almost 2 hours They finally took the extra fees off. While test driving I heard nothing of the vehicle itself only about the LoJack and protectant. Tried showing me pictures of dog hair in a vehicle while driving on busy Chicago streets. The seat belt didn't work in the vehicle either. Didn't seem to be a big deal to them. At no point did they give me time inside the vehicle in park to look around inside. I purchased the vehicle and when I got home 3 hour drive later the usb port was clearly broken so now many of my features are not available. My front right tire also needed air. And they left me with barely enough gas to leave Chicago. Worst experience buying a car in my life. More

This Toyota dealership is a scam, they will tell you the car's price and then add scam packages to the car totaling over $4000!! Buyer beware: You expect to be taken advantage of when dealing with car dealerships and this location is no different. Immediately after my first visit, regret seeped in as advertised pricing was not hono dealing with car dealerships and this location is no different. I reluctantly exceeded my budget on a car lease due to my time sensitive transportation needs and the low supply of vehicles caused by the chip shortage just underway at the time. For such an expensive transaction, it would be enough to leave with a bad taste in your mouth. But on top of this, the sales rep botched the title registration which left me in possession of a vehicle with expired temp plates which you cannot legally drive or park, as I found out with $300 in tickets for parking on the street outside my place. The sales rep said he’d reimburse me for this which was a nice and very fair gesture had he followed up on this promise. In fact, he never even responded to my follow up messages and neither did his manager in the sales office. Absolutely zero accountability. And the handful of questions I had for the sales rep after driving off the lot were simply never answered. No “I’m not sure” or “I believe it works this way”. Nothing. Since leaving the dealership the very first day, I’ve been looking forward to returning this vehicle and never dealing with Toyota again. More

After reading our review, the general manager, Derek, responded in a way compelling me to leave a review highlighting the positive aspects of Toyota of Lincoln Park. Although our experience is not one we would like to repeat, Derek and our salesperson, Dustin, did everything they could to rectify the problem, offering a trade-in. I say this wholeheartedly and we cannot expect anything more than this. More

Vehicle was not as shown or described online. Traveled Far and Vehicle wasn't ready even though they had a notice I was on the Way. Vehicle was filthy and they couldn't locate it.
