Hi Redrose, The service advisor is not able to diagnose each specific condition nor the adjustment/ repair needed until the technician has viewed the vehicle. After replacing your cap and resetting your engine light your cruise control was able to re-engage. That was the good news. The service advisor should have been keeping you updated on the progress of your vehicle and they didn't do that in a timely manner. I'm sorry for the extra time it took away from you and I would like to speak with you to apologize personally. Thank you for your feedback.
