I think my frustration is in the fact that they didn't exercise what I would consider, is common sense. I had a framework for the agreement before arriving....all we needed to do was test drive the cars. Mine to sell...theirs to buy. after 30 min maximum we had completed this. I arrived at 5:30 after driving from Anderson, SC. It was well known to the staff that I had an additional 2.5 hours to drive home.....so at 6 when we were ready to do the paperwork, I was thinking I'd be home 8:30 to 9 pm. Instead, I sat.....I was told after 1.5 hours that it wouldn't be much longer...only 2 business managers were working and a lot of people had bought cars ahead of me........so I sat. around 7 I was hungry so I went to dinner....I was told .5 hours more....so I was back at 7:30......sitting.......waiting.....by 8:15 I finally saw the business manager...he said, " this will only take a few minutes".....I told him that it made me angry that I had to wait so long. He was irritated by this and told me that the policy is the order is determined by the tried and true first in/first out....normally this makes perfect sense. after 10 min, I was done and could leave. I understand I am not the only person on the planet. I understand first come/first serve. But when you have a customer that has to drive 2.5 hours, and you can get them out of the door in 10 min, wouldn't it make sense to adjust the policy slightly? Maybe the other people would have also been irritated by waiting an additional 10 min, or maybe they wouldn't have known the difference, but it would have made a big difference to one of your customers. Perhaps following the lead of the grocery store where they have an express line for the easy quick ones...PARTICULARLY when you know the customer has a long trip ahead would make a little sense. All of the employees were nice....all of them told me exactly why I was waiting...but rather than explain the problem, maybe a quick solution was in order. More

She calls me up Thursday night, tells me her car threw a rod and it is totaled. I drive 8 hours to Johnson City and start looking for a car with her Saturday morning with $5,000 in my pocket. After visiting at least eight car lots of non attentive salesman, or getting the high pressure usual car salesman jargon, I stumble into Toyota of Kingsport where I am greeted by Jonathan Coffee. A polite young man with a laid-back demeanor, yet eager to accommodate my laundry list of needs. He did so immediately and found exactly what I was looking for. Even more so I ran into a snafu and was not able to close the deal on Saturday. I had to get out of town early Monday morning. In order to make the deal happen I communicated with Jonathan on a Sunday, closed the deal with him on my way out of town Monday. He went above and beyond the call of duty and EVEN delivered the car to my daughter 30 miles away! Top-notch salesman, top-notch dealership! More

Great staff I'm younger and usually don't get the best of service due to people thinking I can't afford it. That was not the case here. D. He was down to earth and reasonable but I also understood he needs to make money in the process. All in all if I need another vehicle I'll definitely try to get with these two again. More
