I drove one hour each way to Killeen to look at a car that I was told was in stock. I test drove the car. We discussed a price, which I accepted. I then told the salesman that I would be paying $10,000 d that I was told was in stock. I test drove the car. We discussed a price, which I accepted. He left and returned a few minutes later, stating that he was sorry, the car was already sold. However, the car still shows as available for sale on their website. Scummy behavior and a total waste of time. I could never trust them and would never do business with them. More
Very disappointed. While in for routine service, I advised the service rep that I would like to order a top rack end cap for my 4Runner if it was under $50. The rep advised it was and ordered the part ($47) When Toyota called I drove in to pick up the part and it was obviously the wrong part. Toyota acknowledged that it was the wrong part and ordered the replacement, stating that it should be less expensive than the wrong part, that they would credit the difference and call me when the part came in. Three weeks and no call, so I called them. The part was there and apparently had been for some time. When I came in to pick it up, they told me that this 2oz piece of plastic cost $195 ($20 on Amazon) and that I owed the difference. I was flummoxed and paid the difference. When I got home and examined the invoice, the credit I received for the wrong part was about $10 less that what I initially paid for the wrong part. So- wrong part, bad pricing advice, no call when the part arrived and less credit for my initial purchase than what I paid. Like I said, very disappointed. More
McKenzie with Toyota of Killeen was literally the best salesperson I’ve ever worked with. She went far beyond out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. We didn’t end up purchasing a vehicle only salesperson I’ve ever worked with. She went far beyond out of her way to make sure we were taken care of. Toyota has just lost another loyal customer because of this dealership. I can’t believe I fell for their “waitlist” and paid $500 to reserve a 2022 rav4 back in June ONLY since they said the wait was arou this dealership. I can’t believe I fell for their “waitlist” and paid $500 to reserve a 2022 rav4 back in June ONLY since they said the wait was around two months but assured me it won’t take more than four. EIGHT months later Josh in internet sales calls and leaves an excited voicemail that “my car has arrive!” I call him back and he tells me my car is on the way but instead of the color I ordered it’s in red! So…not my car then. I ordered LUNAR ROCK. The audacity. The last time I heard back from him after asking the status of my vehicle once each month was September. I reached out in October and never was contacted again until this week for the red version. Some updates would have been greatly appreciated, calling me excited that “my car has arrived” should have never happened, and a refund of the $500 for the deception is the least they could do after making someone wait in the dark for eight months with no option to get out of the reservation after this long and losing out on the trade in value of current vehicle. Toyota (especially of Killeen) just lost a loyal customer. Your customer service made this decision easy. I’m getting a Subaru. More
The worst service department in Bell County. Hopefully, the can straighten themselves out and get their act together over there, because my recent experience is not in keeping with the high standards of customer service I had been accustomed to dealing with their team in the past 7 years. Maybe they need a new coach because right now that team is producing suspect work. And performing at a substandard level. Where are the quality controls? The environment indicates they aren’t being used. From start to finish the quality is just not at par. I can say this, the guys in parts and the welcome staff are always a joy, and the fridge is stocked with cold water. Other than that Toyota of Killeen is a no for me. How can you justify placing your customers into a filthy courtesy vehicle that is driven by a person who does in excess of 15 of the posted speed limit and then blows thru stop signs, all this while I was on speakerphone with the boss. But wait it gets better, when we get the vehicle back the door jams and interior floor carpets show evidence of where the technician did not place protective covering on the floor nor did he attempt to clean up his mess. Wait it gets better. These issues were brought to the attention of mgt and guess what, they rested on their morals and allowed these transgressions to go unrectified. Not even an apology much less a thank you for your continued business. Oh well, this is why Toyota of Killeen is a no for me. I know better therefore I do better. They are not the right dealership for me or my family. In the words of the former governor of California, to Toyota of Killeen I say Hasta Lavista Baby! Oh I left out the part where the drive closed the door on me twice while I was entering the vehicle. More
I asked for a multi point inspection, and address engine light issue. Killeen Toyota had my truck almost 3 days, 1 just waiting on parts! Wanted to buy a Highlander. When we asked the guy what deals they were having he stated they are selling for MSRP. We explained that we both have perfect credit and ready to buy.
