This was the best overall car buying experience I ever had. Michael Meek was the internet salesman I dealt with,he is great . We did some of the deal over the internet, then finalized the price I would pay over the phone, with no haggling.Mike is just as cool and laid back in person as he is on the phone. When we got to Ray Brandt Toyota, everyone we met in the dealership, was with either a handshake or a hello and a smile. Everything went quick and smoothly, the honored the price that was quoted to me, also they gave me top dollar on my trade without question. From the car being presented to me in top condition,to the test drive, and of course taking care of the paper work we were in and out, and on our way in less than two hours. We will return for our next purchase, and I will recommend Ray Brandt Toyota and the crew to everyone. RM More
Purchased new Prius two weeks ago; they took my trade in keys to check vehicle and it took two weeks to get back my bike rack lock key that was on that key ring. No temporary tag was put in the car, nor in keys to check vehicle and it took two weeks to get back my bike rack lock key that was on that key ring. No temporary tag was put in the car, nor in my hand, realized three days later that I didn't have one, called the dealership and the receptionist says it's at the front desk and that I needed to come pick it up and put it in the window or I could be ticketed. Professional sounding, and trusting, finance closer suggested and sold me what my wife and I thought was the Toyota 100K extended warranty, discounted because I was a VIP customer due to my 852 Beacon score, what a crock. Today I got a letter from some auto warranty company in Baton Rouge saying they had the warranty and had to change my customer number due to a mistake in the office, great. I paid Toyota price of $1,795.00 for this aftermarket, no name, no website, no brochure "insurance" underwriter, somehow I feel a little sore for this beating. I paid full sticker for the car, full sticker for the warranty, and full sticker for the poor integrity expressed by the representatives of Ray Brandt Toyota. By the way, I've bought two other vehicles from Ray Brandt in the past and never experienced this type of what appears to be "under handed" shananigans, and they weren't Toyota's, they were Nissans. My wife and I and heart sick over this, it was to be a wonderful experience in spite of the price and this was my retirement vehicle to me and is to be probably my last one. Congratulations Ray Brandt, you made that extra $, but at what sake? Jim Peoples Destrehan, La. Disappointed senior in America More
Two visits to this dealership. On both visits, the salesmen never pointed out features. They just open the vehicle and let us look around. When asked about a feature, they were not certain of what so salesmen never pointed out features. They just open the vehicle and let us look around. When asked about a feature, they were not certain of what some things were. On the 2nd visit, after looking at one vehicle, the key cabinet could not be accessed. Their computer had them locked out. We couldn't look inside vehicles or test drive. After waiting about 45 minutes, we left and did not return. On both visits, the salesmen took my contact information, but neither salesman made any attempt to contact me. More
I purchased a vehicle in which the salesman (Micheal Meeks) recorded the wrong vin Number. I then called to ask for assistance that has brought me to 4 weeks later. I can still not get a tag and my wife Meeks) recorded the wrong vin Number. I then called to ask for assistance that has brought me to 4 weeks later. I can still not get a tag and my wife is in a rental car now that the dealership will not pay for now. The dealership first told me (finance officer Charles Phillips) that all I needed to do is change the vin number on the paper work, initial it and the state of Mississippi did accept it. This was a waste of time and false. My state did no accept it. They (Dealership) gave me a 60 day tag that could not be used in my state. My wife was pulled over on several occassions and told that if she was caught driving the vehicle without a tage after seven days of purchase that she would be ticketed. This is Mississippi State Law. I explained this to the dealership and I was told by Manager James and the sales person Michael Meeks that it was nothing they could do. My wife sold her car upon our return from purchasing this vehicle under the impression that the car she bought would be her car. We have since then been driving a rental car in fear of being ticketed in our state and we were told that they would not refund us any of the money that I am paying for the rental car because they feel like none of this is their fault. I have since then submitted all of the paperwork again and I still do not have any paperwork to get a tag. I am currently seeking a Lawyer and I was told by the employees listed above that I can not speak to Ray Brandt whom is the owner of the company to work our a resolution to this problem. More
I've been doing some shopping around at several Toyota dealerships. I love Toyotas and my Camry has been very good to me these last 16 years. I started shopping around for a new Toyota through the nation dealerships. I love Toyotas and my Camry has been very good to me these last 16 years. I started shopping around for a new Toyota through the national Toyota website which seemed like it automatically assigned or delivered my e-mail requests to people at each of the dealerships that I contacted. I got a response from Charlie Dubord, an Internet Sales Director. Charlie gave me some initial information and then mentioned some salespeople that would help me proceed with obtaining more information and setting up an appointment. I had played phone tag with some of the recommended sales people, but due to scheduling conflicts, was unable to get the information that I requested. Charlie had no problem stepping right in and taking care of what I needed taking care of. He was even able to find the vehicle that I wanted and get it for a lower price than other dealerships were offering. Charlie was inviting, straightforward, and very professional in all of the conversations and correspondence that we had. He was the first person to jump in and help (and wound up being the last as I bought from Ray Brandt). He discussed things and provided answers to questions that I did not know I even had! He’s obviously very experienced well beyond his years. He lacked any of the stereotypical qualities one usually thinks about when one hears “car salesmen,” and he refrained from badmouthing any other dealerships or salespeople which was surprisingly common elsewhere. He is what initially brought me into Ray Brandt Toyota and kept me there as well. I also worked with Richard Ray to finalize the sales process. Richard was very good humored (hence “The Clown” title) and really knew the Toyota vehicles inside and out. He too made me feel like my business was appreciated at Ray Brandt Toyota. I am extremely happy with the car purchase that I have made. More
The service department is a joke, take your vehicle somewhere else. If there is something to screw up, these guys will do it. They can't even put air in the tires properly. The service department ex somewhere else. If there is something to screw up, these guys will do it. They can't even put air in the tires properly. The service department exhibited very poor knowledge of vehicles and are not willing to assist you. Just like pulling teeth. Mike Meek was good to deal with regarding the sale of the vehicle and was knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to buy from him and the sale went very smoothly. I would buy from Ray Brandt again. David Zoller is a xxxxx and is not willing to help you out unless forced to do so. More
This is my fifth vehicle from Ray Brandt. We have always been treated extremely well by the sales and service personnel. Ray Brandt, the owner, has always made himself available to us and has always been t been treated extremely well by the sales and service personnel. Ray Brandt, the owner, has always made himself available to us and has always been truly grateful for our business. It is not often that you find an entire business that is so dedicated to the customer's satisfaction. My wife and I have recommended over twenty-five people to the Ray Brandt Dealer Group for vehicle purchases and services. Everyone has received the same exceptional treatment without exception. More

I bought my new Sienna from this dealership and it was a great experience. Joshua was very kind, friendly, and cooperative to make the deal. Even though negotiation took a while to reach the end, he was pat great experience. Joshua was very kind, friendly, and cooperative to make the deal. Even though negotiation took a while to reach the end, he was patient and tried to listen my request as much as he could. His hard work made me very happy with the very reasonable final price. Also I learned later that the service part is good, too. I was surprised to see my car was washed after regular oil and filter change. More
I was called at my house by a salesperson telling me that it was a good time to shop. He expressed how the managers were making good deals on Tundra trucks which I was looking to buy. I drove about an hour it was a good time to shop. He expressed how the managers were making good deals on Tundra trucks which I was looking to buy. I drove about an hour or more to visit the dealership. I was led to the big inventory and picked out the one I liked. We went to the salesman desk and I was asked to write down the price that I was looking to spend. I wrote it down and the salesman went to the manager and said they could make the deal that day. I met other people including the finance manager and made it easy to secure a Toyota loan. I had a good experience buying my Toyota Tundra. More
