Cheating You Out of Your Toyota Care! SCAM ALERT: Ok, I know when you read these you just think disgruntled customer. But there's some very important info here that applies to ALL Toyo SCAM ALERT: Ok, I know when you read these you just think disgruntled customer. But there's some very important info here that applies to ALL Toyota service departments, here's what's happening: The service department is convincing people to use up their Toyota Care complimentary maintenance early. My Story: Short version: service rep tricked me into getting an oil change 4,000 miles early and now they won't do any more oil changes. Slightly Long (but you'll want to know this!): Came in for 5,000 mile service with 6,000 miles (was moving across country at 5,000 and unable to get service earlier), was told I should just go ahead and get an oil change and call it the 10,000 mile service. Ok... Came in for 15,000 mile to get an oil change. Service rep says it's not included in 15,000 miles, I have to do the 20,000 mile service. Confused, I agreed and let the car go. So, I go and check all this out, turns out Toyota Care outlines that you are only supposed to get oil changed every 10,000 with synthetic, so that is when they do the oil change. Essentially, when the rep tricked me into getting the oil change at 6,000 miles, they shortchanged 4,000 miles worth oil life. As it turns out after calling Toyota (who do not have your backs AT ALL btw), I was supposedly able to decline the oil change at 6,000. The service rep did not explain any of this information, nor that my next oil change would be my last. Now, we are all given Toyota Care packets which outline the maintenance schedule; however, the rep led me to believe that oil changes would happen every time my car was brought in. To that point, the service sticker on my windshield actually had me due to come in at 11,000 miles for an oil change (a 5,000 mile interval) AND the one they just put on has me due in another 5,000! So, do yourself a favor. DO NOT listen to the service reps even when your car is a little over the mileage. They will try to tell you something about it's been 6 months so you should really do it, but you only need an oil change for synthetic once a year or every 10,000 miles. Do not let them cheat you out of the life of your car. More

Outstanding personalized service. I brought my Prius for a check up after the "check hybrid system" light went off. When your car has over 270,000 miles and a light like that comes on, I brought my Prius for a check up after the "check hybrid system" light went off. When your car has over 270,000 miles and a light like that comes on, you are anxious and have a lot of questions. I was helped by Joey Lutz who immediately put me at ease, answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. He was extra courteous and very professional. More that what you expect at a dealership service center. My car was ready within a reasonable time, the shuttle service was impeccable and I left having a great overall experience there. And I am so glad because the are really close to home. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. More
