I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Toyota of Hollywood has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had. I had my 2002 Lexus IS300 towed to the deal Toyota of Hollywood has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I have ever had. I had my 2002 Lexus IS300 towed to the dealership in January for a power steering issue and a dead battery. I specifically mentioned that I believed the power steering problem could be related to the pump or reservoir. After performing a diagnostic inspection, the dealership concluded that the issue was the rack and pinion. Based on their professional diagnosis and recommendations, I approved the repair along with several additional maintenance items and ultimately paid thousands of dollars for the diagnosis and the repairs they recommended. Because I work remotely, I do not drive my vehicle frequently. When I next drove it, I immediately noticed that the exact same power steering issue I originally brought it in for was still present. After returning the vehicle to the dealership, I was informed that the issue was now believed to be the power steering pump, something that was never identified during the original diagnosis. Rather than taking responsibility for the failed diagnosis and unresolved repair, I was asked to pay even more money to continue repairing the same issue I originally brought the vehicle in for. What makes this even more disappointing is the way dealership leadership handled the situation. I emailed the General Manager directly on two separate occasions, a month apart, and never received a response. Instead, communication came through other managers while my vehicle remained at the dealership, unrepaired. My issue has never been about avoiding legitimate repair costs. My issue is that I paid thousands of dollars for a professional diagnostic inspection and the repairs the dealership recommended, trusted their expertise, and the original problem was not fixed. As a customer, I do not believe I should be expected to continue paying for additional repairs resulting from an incorrect initial diagnosis. I chose dealership service because I believed factory-trained technicians and Toyota-backed service would provide a higher level of expertise, accountability, and customer care. Unfortunately, my experience has been the exact opposite. The vehicle remains at Toyota of Hollywood today, and the original concern that brought it there remains unresolved. If this is considered acceptable customer treatment under the Toyota brand, that is deeply concerning. Until this issue is properly resolved, I cannot recommend this dealership. More

I went there because of a nail in tire and I don't have the wheel lock key with me. I hoped the dealer would be able to unlock it since they were original Toyota locks, but they couldn't, so I had to pay e the wheel lock key with me. The technician was not there so we had to wait overnight. Fortunately, we were given a free rental (very new and clean) for the night, which made up for the disappointments. In the end, the repair (tire patch up and replacement bolt) is satisfactory. Total price is higher than expected. Jaro is very patient and helpful I would give him full score rating! More
