I cannot say enough kind words about your service technician Eric Christophersen. He has been working on my car for roughly 9 years now and he is always available to assist me when my car needs work technician Eric Christophersen. I own a 1991 Toyota Celica that I got on my 16th birthday (I am now 32) with 323,000+ miles on it. It is because of Eric I am still driving this vehicle. This past Saturday, 07/02/2011 - I had contacted Eric to let him know that I accidentially poured power steering fluid in my brake fluid reservoir and he instructed me that I needed to have my brake line flushed immediately. I live in Anderson and every place I had contacted (including Ralph Hayes Toyota) was booked. So I called Toyota of Greenville (drove all the way up from Anderson) and spoke with Chris and he told me that if I bring my car up there by 2:00 he would have it ready for me by 3:15. When Chris called me at 3:15 to let me know my car was ready he stated that they could not get the rear brakes to work and that driving my car was a safety issue. I was upset upon hearing this news because I could not understand how I could drop my car off with the brakes working and then when I picked it up I virtually had no brakes. Per Eric's instruction I told the service rep when I dropped the car off that I would need to have the master cylinder flushed out first and then the brake line would need to be flushed/bled. I called Eric when I picked up my car (obviously upset at the fact that I barely had any brakes) and he asked me a series of questions and said he thought I probably had air in the line. He stayed on the phone with me during my entire drive home (which was a 25 minute drive). He gave me some instructions for me and my husband to look at in terms of the car (i.e. check for leaks, check fluid levels, pump brakes, etc.) and said if the problem was not any better by Tuesday he would look at my car for me. I did not drive my vehicle any on Sunday or Monday for safety reasons. Eric called me on my way to work Tuesday morning and told me to bring the car by Toyota at lunchtime and he would take a look at it to make sure everything was okay. He confirmed that the tech that worked on my car on Saturday did in fact leave air in the brake line so Eric again flushed out my brake line and corrected the problem. He then proceeded to drive my car to my office because I did not have a way back over to Toyota to pick up my car - talk about service with a smile!! It is because of mechanics like Eric is why I choose to do business with Toyota of Greenville and why I will continue to drive Toyota vehicles when the time comes for me to replace my Celica. Eric has always been honest and up front when dealing with issues concerning my car. He has never told me that I needed to spend extra costs on the car unless it was completly necessary. I have referred numerous friends and family members to Eric for services with their vehicles and they all echo the same sentiments about Eric as I do. I hope Toyota of Greenville appreciates and values quality employees and will do everything they can to retain Eric's services because having a good mechanic is like having a good husband - you never want to lose them once you find them!! More
I had a very positive purchasing experience with this dealership. I purchase a new vehicle every 18 months to 2 years, and I have dealt with many dealerships in the past. I was greeted by Robby when I first arrived at Toyota of Greenville. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles that he sold and when I told him I was interested about in a Camry he began to show me the ca Greenville. I told him that I was not sure if I wanted to buy then but I was just looking. We went over the pricing and trade in and When I left that evening I had planned to come back on Monday and buy the vehicle. I changed my mind and called Robby and told him. He let me sit for a day then called me back and put the hook in me with a deal that I could not turn down. I came by after work and he had a Camry sitting in the warehouse waiting for me to test drive. The rest of the process went very smoothly. What impressed me was that Robby never mentioned that he was supposed to get off at 6 PM. I only found this out about a week later when I cme by to drop off a title for the vehicle that I traded in. He was there with me as long as it took and it did not take very long. I think the lady's name that did the financing was Donna but she breezed right thru the process and explained everything to me in detail. When I left that night I was very pleased with my 2011 Camry. I have received several follow up calls to make sure everything is ok with the car and to make sure that I am still satisfied. I have bought 2 cars there previously and would not be a return customer if I had a bad experience. Toyota of Greenville will be my first choice when I am in the market for another car. Everyone I worked with was very helpful. They were friendly and courteous. My last Toyota I bought in Greer because they had given me more on my trade in than Toyota of Greenville offered but this ti friendly and courteous. Charlie was provided exceptional service throughout the entire process. I arrived to the dealership 5 minutes before closing time but he still approached me and provided a great price in addition to locati entire process. Well that vehicle came in damaged off the truck but that didn't stop Charlie from locating an identical Camry to be shipped to Greenville. In addition I was impressed he worked past his scheduled hrs and did not rush me during out initial meeting although it was memorial day eve as well. He also provided me a demo vehicle due to circumstances and a free full tank of gas during the process. I'm definitely recommending Charlie to anyone who's in the market for a vehicle b/c he rocks!! Also Donna/finance was great to work w/ and helpful in providing money management advice. Guy/service-shop was a pleasure to meet as well. Smitty/sales manager took the initiative to assist me while Charlie was wrapping up business w/ another customer. Those are the reasons for giving Great ratings during my purchase process. More
