As the face of Rice Toyota, he made a great impression and that had a lot to do with them getting our business. Buying a car is hardly ever a pleasant experience, but our interaction with Kelvin made it as pleasant as one can expect it to be. He wasn't pushy, patronizing, or fake. He had a genuine understanding of the product they were offering and answered all the questions we had to our satisfaction. Exactly what we were looking for. To provide context, we did not walk in planning to buy a car. We had actually traveled from Raleigh to look at a different car in Greensboro, but stopped by Rice Toyota after hearing good things about them. The car they had looked just as good as the other one and the whole experience was pleasant enough for us to move forward and close it. Kelvin had a big part to play in that, owing to his attentiveness and calm disposition. There are people who prefer the friendly, salesy type reps but we prefer ones who are more direct and straight up with their info, even if they seem less 'personal'. And Kelvin was exactly that way; calm, polite, knowledgeable, helpful, and direct. More
Professional, helpful, not difficult or manipulative I've bought several cars in my life, and have found some dealerships were very difficult. That was NOT my experience this weekend. After hydroplaning and totaling my car, my wife and I unexpectedly were in the market to buy another one. We did online research and found a car we liked at Rice Toyota in Greensboro. We called ahead and the coordinator connected us with Scotty in sales. Scotty was respectful, attentive and helpful. He was happy to arrange for the car we liked to be pulled around, detailed and filled with gas before we got there. He helped us understand the features of the pre-owned vehicle we were looking at, and he demonstrated his excellent product knowledge. He helped us with a good route that let us test drive the car and see how it worked. We were able to see the Carfax, and had confidence that this vehicle would be a good addition for us. Our family needs extra keys, and Scotty was knowledgable and helped me figure out a plan to save some money on keys. All the while Scotty was personable, helpful and focused on answering any questions we may have had about the vehicle or the process. When it came time to make a decision and negotiate, he was a professional and the process was smooth. The team at the dealership was friendly and helpful all the way through the process. My only challenge was that because the dealership was VERY busy that day we had to wait for about an hour before the finance office could finish the paperwork. We would recommend working with Scotty and the team at Rice Toyota. Oh - and as we were walking out the door, Scotty came over and blew us away by handing us the extra key we needed - he had come across it in the stuff from the previous owner while we were doing the paperwork! Talk about exceeding expectations! More

I’ve bought cars from other dealers and the sale person I had doesn’t compare to the person I met at rice toyata Dylan Crump. Not only was he very helpful he didn’t make it seem like he was pressuring me to buy from him. He wanted me to feel comfortable in what I was doing. And I loved how he follows up just to see how things are going. I would definitely recommend Rice Toyota! More

Search for the Right Car My 2000 Avalon tripped 400,000 miles so it was obviously time to replace it - if nothing else to upgrade the technology. I considered the RAV4 or Camr My 2000 Avalon tripped 400,000 miles so it was obviously time to replace it - if nothing else to upgrade the technology. I considered the RAV4 or Camry. My drivers were fuel efficiency, safety, travel comfort, sun roof, leather seats, and mid-level package. This is where Kelvin Alexander enters the picture. I contacted Rice on-line and Kelvin got back to me promptly. I explained my need for comfort and safety, not necessarily luxury. He identified the best fit through on-line inventory search. Kelvin is a great guy and works really hard to ensure customer satisfaction from start to finish of the deal. His attention to customer service and ability to pair up needs against a broad inventory helped me feel more confident that the Camry SE Hybrid. Predawn Gray was the best choice for me. I have owned a celica, Camry, Mstrix, Corolla and now another Camry. The mpg is 40-47, which beats the 26-31 that I had with the Avalon. I appreciate Kelvin's grasp of my interests and his ability to identify the perfect car for me. I traveled from Durm to Gboro to close this deal, partly because Kelvin put the work in to ensure customer satisfaction. After 35 years as a patron, I still love my Toyota and would definitely send others to Rice. More
