A Very Relaxed, Friendly Experience I began my car buying quest online. I was browsing different dealership websites, but always for a certified Toyota. I wasn't sure what I could afford I began my car buying quest online. I was browsing different dealership websites, but always for a certified Toyota. I wasn't sure what I could afford, or if I could even get financing without being "hammered" by a high interest rate. I saw a few vehicles that I was interested in on Hibbard's website. I was contacted by Wayne Hobdy the next day and he called me several times over the next few days. I finally had a chance to stop in and he couldn't have been more friendly and understanding. He was able to work out a satisfactory deal on a 2012 Rav4 and I am very happy with it. I have already mentioned him to three people and I look forward to visiting with him in the future. Best salesman we've ever had! Initially, I brought my Prius in to have it looked at because the check engine light came on. I didn't really have any intentions of buying a car, bu Initially, I brought my Prius in to have it looked at because the check engine light came on. I didn't really have any intentions of buying a car, but it had been in the back of my mind for a while since the miles were racking up on my car. I inquired online to see if a particular car was still available, and Marcus was quick to respond. I explained my situation and that I was on the fence about buying or just keeping my car. He wasn't pushy at all. He introduced himself while I was waiting on my car to be serviced, and then he introduced me to Terry. As with Marcus, Terry wasn't pushy and seemed to genuinely understand my situation. I could immediately see that Terry was just a "good ol' boy" with a great personality. I told him I'd discuss some options with my wife, and we'd be back after lunch and let him know one way or the other. I came back just to look at the other Prius I had inquired about. Again, Terry was light-hearted and making jokes, which just made the whole experience that much better. After running the numbers, things looked good to me, so I decided to trade my Prius for a newer one with lower miles. During the entire time, Terry seemed genuinely happy for us. He didn't try to sway our decision one way or the other at any time. Of course, I'm sure he wanted to make the sale, as that's his job, but he seemed to care more about us than making the deal. He also seemed like he really went to bat for us to get the best deal. Shoot, he even pulled out an orange Sunkist drink from his personal lunch and offered it to us. That's just how nice he was. Terry was definitely the best salesman we've ever dealt with! More
