It is so hard to find trustworthy mechanics when you move around a lot. Service is always timely and reasonably priced. The employees never have any issues explaining things to a non-car minded person like myself. The parts guys are great to, and super patient. We recently bought a car from them and we're just as satisfied with our service. James Lackey was our sales person and he was knowledgable, patient, and made the experience enjoyable. He put up with me and my 2 small children making a mess of crumbs in his office and was patient with my son as pushed every button within reaching distance on every vehicle we looked at. We never felt pressure at all to buy. It was a very good experience. When it was time to make the purchase, it went quickly and smoothly, and we were not asked to purchase a million extra warranties, etc. The price was competitive ad our trade in value was great. I would highly recommend the dealership and James if you are looking for a Toyota! More

From arrival to driving away was less than 3 hours, which is pretty good in my experience. This included the finance process, a short tour around the service facility and a 20 minute tutorial on features of our new vehicle. All in all a very good experience. I would recommend Ron Hibbard Toyota, even if you have to drive a little further (we came from about 45 miles away with at least 3 closer dealerships that we could have gone to instead). More

Dishonest Dealership In my book, not being completely honest, is dishonest!.. Mr. Crawford was a very nice salesman, and of course, so was Mr. Hibbard and the finance guy. In my book, not being completely honest, is dishonest!.. Mr. Crawford was a very nice salesman, and of course, so was Mr. Hibbard and the finance guy. However, our experience was one I won't forget for some time. My husband had been looking for a particular 2015 Toyota Tacoma, and while we were in Nashville saw this dealership had one in stock.When we got to dealership and were shown the truck, it was so NASTY we hardly tell what color it was inside and out, but they assured us, they would clean it up. We didn't need to drive it because we own a 2012 mdl, so we went in to make our deal. I asked SEVERAL TIMES what the interest rate would be.... we have GREAT credit, so that wasn't an issue, but we had other financing options and we could easily pick up the phone and handle it.The only answer I could get was, YOU WILL LOVE OUR INTEREST RATE, but until after 5:00 p.m and TOO LATE to do anything different without a special trip back to Gallatin from MS, we were given an interest I was NOT HAPPY with!.. Mr. YOU WILL LOVE OUR INTEREST RATE,then said, 'if you can do better, when you get home all you have to do is re-finance it'. What he DIDN'T tell me was that because the truck had around 1700 miles on it from a salesman driving it, IT NO LONGER QUALIFIED FOR NEW VEHICLE INTEREST RATES!.. I found THIS out when I got back home.. It was the last day of the month, and they were determined on selling the truck, and making that xtra bit on the Toyota Financing (I know how this works...) all they were concerned with was closing the deal using Toyota Financing.. Exasperated and later leaving than we had planned for our 7 hour trip home, down the interstate I was following my husband, who was driving our NEW truck, I saw TWO DENTS in the right back fender of the truck!!! Not large ones, but large enough I could see them from my vehicle!!! I don't know who else knew those dents were in the truck, but FOR SURE.. whoever had been driving it had to know it, and who ever cleaned it up certainly did!! When they cleaned it up, they parked it with the dented side away, and we never went around to that side of the truck (our mistake, of course)..We made several mistakes here, being in a hurry to head home was one of them, trusting nice people to be completely honest was the biggest mistake!.. I guess we never get too old to learn from our mistakes.. I told these folks, I couldn't wait to get a survey from Toyota on our experience.. Funny thing, we never got one!! The only star they got was because we got a the truck for a good price, certainly not good enough to pay for having the dents fixed OR the difference in the interest rate we SHOULD have gotten for a new vehicle.. The only comment we got from the dealership was that even though we called around to several other Toyota dealerships in MS and other areas afterwards and found Toyotal Financial interest were less, we were told that the interest rates varied depending on the Toyota 'district' and Ron Hibbard's district just happened to have a higher interest rate than the ones we checked.. The fact that they put off telling us what it was until after 5:00 so we wouldn't be able to do anything about it that day was my greatest point of exasperation!! Live and learn... More
