While visiting Erie from Maryland, I scheduled my regular oil change at Erie Toyota. Before even speaking to anyone, it was surprising to see that a full tire alignment was recommended on the overhead screen oil change at Erie Toyota. Before even speaking to anyone, it was surprising to see that a full tire alignment was recommended on the overhead screen. After my oil change, one service technician showed me a diagram of my tires and pointed out several areas with low tire tread. When I told him I didn't want the service because my new tires were only three weeks old, and had been balanced and checked during purchase elsewhere, attendant said he would return with my paperwork. A second tech later returned with that paperwork. I noticed all tires were now rated as 10s and he recommended that I arrange for my future alignments where I purchased the tires. When I questioned a third person about this overselling alignment request, I was told it was due to the strip my car passed over into the garage. Baloney! Upon leaving the dealership, I drove my car to a flat road and tested the alignment by taking my hands off the wheel. As expected, the car continued perfectly straight, without veering to either side. In addition to this difference in service, I noticed that all of the service reps and staff were different from my last visit. More
Wonderful experience working with an experienced work force. Brad Harris our sales associate, was accommodating without putting undo pressure on our potential purchasing decision. We ended up purchasing force. Brad Harris our sales associate, was accommodating without putting undo pressure on our potential purchasing decision. We ended up purchasing a new 2024 Tacoma. The truck hasn’t disappointed, and well worth the money invested. Years of dependability with several safety features was the final selling point. More
Even though they advertise on the Web, they are unable to make it work and wasted my time. Superior Toyota was great - right up until the ownership changed and it became Toyota of Erie! Now you have to schedule an oil change weeks to months in advance, and actual repairs even further out. Even changed and it became Toyota of Erie! Now you have to schedule an oil change weeks to months in advance, and actual repairs even further out. Even getting parts through the parts department to work on your vehicle yourself is wasted time. I love my vehicle, but every time I have deal with the new dealership I dislike them a little more. My 2019 Toyota was in Toyota's shop for 3 days. I was informed that a mechanic of 33 years and others could not find the problem in 3 days. My wife's mechanic came to our house and found the probl I was informed that a mechanic of 33 years and others could not find the problem in 3 days. My wife's mechanic came to our house and found the problem in 10 minutes, It was a max air flow sensor. I am just wondering why Toyota after 3 days couldn't find the problem. They cost me $50. They emptied a full tank of gas , that wasn't the problem. Go figure that a Toyota dealer could fix their own vehicles. For got to mention the part was $132. They charges me $1,000 for their work. I got that back, but they insinuated it my fault. Of course this won't remain here long More
