Five star experience I was incredibly impressed with the way they handled everything I came in with money in hand so it was only a two-hour process they have taken very go I was incredibly impressed with the way they handled everything I came in with money in hand so it was only a two-hour process they have taken very good care of me they are helping me get the accessories I want and learn my vehicle even after I left the dealership I would say that this experience has beat that of Sewell, Moritz and even Crest dealerships and I have done business with all of those. Service department excess upselling I bought a toyota Highlander at Dallas toyota in 2017 with Toyota autocare and service contract. We brought the car in for routine 25,000 mile servic I bought a toyota Highlander at Dallas toyota in 2017 with Toyota autocare and service contract. We brought the car in for routine 25,000 mile service and the service advisor told my wife there was additional recommended service they strongly recommend. According to the service booklet, with our prepaid plan the service should have been either 0 or $39 dollars. My wife was busy at work and reluctantly agreed to 'necessary service" and we were presented a bill for $475 dollars. Items we were billed for included fuel injector care (not recommended until 30,000 miles), brake fluid exchange (not mentioned as being necessary through 50k miles) and battery cable connection cleaning and sealant (THIS LAST ITEM WAS ACTUALLY NEVER DONE AND WE WERE STILL BILLED FOR THE SERVICE). When I complained to the service advisor that these services were either too early or not even recommended and that the battery cable work never occurred, he offered me $100 off, period. The Finance department who sold me the two warranties would not intervene. We have a Toyota Corrolla and have also had the same predatory type up-selling recommendations for this car as well and have taken the car to an independent mechanic. I have cancelled our service contracts with Toyota because the Dallas Toyota store will find a way to charge you for service not covered by your contract. I recommend an independent mechanic instead of this location at all costs. More
