Lack of Empathy, Professionalism, Customer Service Skills Hello, I recently inquired about purchasing a vehicle and was intrigued that this dealership had a Shop at Home function since I was interested in a Hello, I recently inquired about purchasing a vehicle and was intrigued that this dealership had a Shop at Home function since I was interested in a specific vehicle not in my area. They also have a Simple Price, which means the offer on the website was the lowest offer. That's fine and well, but this Shop at Home function is not completely painless and having a Simple Price/Process does not mean you should treat the customer like a Simpleton. Even though communication was by e-mail and phone, the entire time I felt like a number and not a real person. As Jonathan Sciaqua pointed out in my last conversation with this Dealership, we deal with "hundreds of customers!" It feels like this Simple Price gives the Sales Team to act like they are above the consumer, and any questions outside of an Immediate Sale is a waste of time. Instead of offering any solutions, I was always met with a "my hands are tied attitude," even advised to go to other dealerships,. No empathy, no wishes to follow up, nor aid a customer. I was asked if why I haven't bought from a dealership closer to me? Well, at this point, I am asking myself the same question. More
