I just recently moved to the area from out of state and was looking for a new Toyota dealer to take my car. I checked dealerrater.com and Toyota of Walnut Creek was the only dealer in the area within close was looking for a new Toyota dealer to take my car. I checked dealerrater.com and Toyota of Walnut Creek was the only dealer in the area within close proximity to my home and work that had a decent rating... and they had a perfect score. I'm generally leery of new dealerships, but thought that you couldn't beat a 5! So I called in to make an appointment. From the time I called in until I drove off with my car again, it was the best dealership experience I've ever had. The receptionist answered on the first ring - sometimes before I even registered it ringing - every time I called. I was floored to learn the service hours - I often work late and was expecting to drop off my car first thing in the morning and bus-it to work. But Toyota of Walnut Creek not only has amazing weekday hours (6am-midnight!) - they also have a courtesy shuttle (and the driver was great!). I've never been to a dealership where everyone looked happy to see you there and genuinely cared about your experience. I will be taking my car back to Toyota of Walnut Creek - no doubt about it. Dave showed me a few corollas but they didn’t have the color I wanted but it didn’t seem to be a problem! I was able to get the sparkly color I always wanted at the price I wanted! If I had questions, they were answered clearly. I will definitely go back for my wifes car soon! More

This dealership (Toyota Walnut Creek) tried a bait and switch on me. Bait me with a low price then strung me along for month: salesman (Joaquin Sotello) told me he reserved a Prius for me twice but each t switch on me. The first time, just before I went to pick up the car, I was told by Joaquin that the front bumper was scratched; then he said he'll reserve another for me in the next allocation. After a couple of weeks, told me that the Prius that was reserved for me was sold by another salesman! To make matters worse, he (switched) said that the price of the same Prius would now be $900 higher!!! So don't waste time with Toyota Walnut Creek. Only deal with a dealership that has integrity; might not have the best price at first but in the end, it's getting your car without any frustrations that count. More
