I have been to Toyota years ago and the place seems to be changing. I was reluctant to deal with the new personnel that I didn't recognize, but they seem very professional. When my car was finished, they picked me up and the service advisor explained all that was done to my car. Also, the hours are extended until late night, which is a big plus. More

I've bought my 2006 Sienna from this dealer and go for maintenance on a regular basis. yesterday I reached there at 9.18 am. by the time the service provider printed everything and got my signs, it was 11 maintenance on a regular basis. yesterday I reached there at 9.18 am. by the time the service provider printed everything and got my signs, it was 11 am. this place don't have enough people to take care of customers. that's why it always takes 4 hrs to finish the job and the money they charge, is ridiculous. I end up spending 500 $ every time I go. for a 4 year old car. I'm very unhappy with the service and the expenses with this dealership. More

Very happy with car, but customer service is absolutely terrible! First, it took an entire day to buy a car there! They agreed to the one thing I wanted in the contract which was a monthly payment under a terrible! First, it took an entire day to buy a car there! They agreed to the one thing I wanted in the contract which was a monthly payment under a certain amount, but when when everything was done, the monthly payment was way over what we agreed. The finance manager led me to believe I could lower it later by canceling certain add-ons that I had foolishly let them talk me into and I was so frigging tired, I just wanted to go home, so did. Lies, lies, all lies. Of course it doesn't work that way. I returned to the dealer to find out my finance manager had been fired (guess why)! It took a month but finally they redid the contract with a lower payment. Even tho they ended up making more money not less, they acted like they were doing me a huge and unusual favor, for which I should be forever grateful. They did tell me it could take a while for the new contract to be processed, and if I got bills on the old contract in the meantime to just ignore them. I followed this advice. BIG mistake. To make a long horrible story short, "somehow", the new contract didn't get processed for another month and I ended up with a DEFAULT notice on my credit report. There is a way to get it removed, but I don't think I'm going to live that long. Meanwhile, this whole time I am trying to get the dealership to CLEAN the car! It was so dark when I took posession, I failed to notice the upholstery & carpet were stained, plus I found pieces of baby toys under the seats etc. Let's just say, after 2 months, they wore me out and it never happened. But that was the straw that broke the camel's back. I decided I didn't want anything to do with this Toyota dealership or the finance company, so I refinanced. I needed just a couple of pieces of information from the dealer in order to complete the transaction. For 2 weeks, I called and called and called--never got thru to anyone who could help me & none of my messages over 2 weeks were ever returned. Why am I not surprised? The good news is I was able to refinance with AAA-- got a much better deal and they were a JOY to work with. Do yourself a favor: stay away from Toyota Universe and save yourself a world of trouble. First off I could barely understand the person who picked up the phone and they told me he was off that day. I called the next day and again could not understand the person who answered the phone. They said told me he was with another customer. They took down my information and said he would call me back. Hours went by, so I called back and again he was with a customer. I explained that this is the 2nd time calling back and that he was with a customer last time I called and I haven't heard back from him. Well it was a mirical because he just finished up and he would call me back. 5 minutes later he called me back and I explained who I was and that he had emailed me about the vehicle. He had no idea who I was and had to tell him the vehicle I was looking for. Said he would look up the vehicle to locate one and that he would call me back (this was Friday). The AAA suto buying program looks at dealers who have the vehicle so I new they had the one I wanted. I called back on Monday morning, guess what? He was on vacation all that week. Pretty nice Alan, nice of you to leave me in the dark! I hope your GM Ralph Colon gets a chance to read this. Your unorganization or lack of professionalism lost you a deal! I read the other posts prior to contacting your dealership and just thought it was non sense but I can see why other complain. I am just glad I didn't step into your dealership. These guys sold me a car which was dripping gasoline onto the motor. I only found out when I took it to a mechanic to find out about the weird smell and have the AC recharged. The mechanic told me that my wife and I could have died; apparently, the only reason I discovered the problem was because it was hot outside. Don’t buy anything from these guys, it could be the last thing you ever do! More

Bought 2 cars an 2011 camry and a 2010 rav4 both times everyone was as pleasent and professional as can be. Easily the worst experience I have had at a car dealer. I know they all play games, but these guys were horrible. They claimed they didn't have the exact options I wanted, but they would locate a similarly equipped vehicle. They claimed they had to search a 400 mile radius to find the a similarly equipped truck to what i was requesting. Yes, they honored the internet price, but tried to gouge me on my trade-in, and overcharge for dealer installed options. Even so, the bottom line price was still good, so I gave them a $1000 deposit that they called a locate fee. The next week, they called and told me my truck was in and it was ready for me to come pick it up. I showed up first thing in the morning, went out to see the truck and it had a big dent in the door. They claimed it didn't come in like that...whatever. I was still going to accept the truck once they replaced the door. After way too many "I'll be right backs" and disappearing for 10-15 minutes at a time, the business office finally got to me and we started the signing. WE were just about done and I was extremely frustrated with the entire drawn out process, then they told me that they made a $1000 mistake on the rebate being offered by Toyota and the vehicle was going to cost me $1000 more. They claimed that my salesman was new and that was the reason for the mistake...well he was new, but he didn't write the contract, it was written by the manager, Max, a big time BS artist and stereotypical asshole salesman. Now, I spent 3 hours the first time there, and this time 3 1/2 hours. They were counting on the fact that I was so worn down by their tactics that I would just accept the deal. No way. I must have heard 6 or 7 times about having to follow their protocol, well their protocol, their business model, is to keep dragging out the process and wear their customers down to the point where they just want to get it over with and they sign. Everything about these guys was shady.... I was a cash buyer and they kept trying to sell me on a payment Charging me for a credit check even though I wasn't applying for credit Not standing by their own contract Overcharging for dealer-installed options Trying the hard sell on an inflated-cost extended warranty Low-balling me on my trade-in value I walked out and told them to keep their truck. Later that day, I walked into Prestige Toyota in Ramsey, and in less than 2 hours drove away in a nicer-equipped truck, for about the same money, but dealt with a different mentality of a dealership. Prestige was great. They treated me like a customer should be treated and the whole process was smooth, transparent, and on the level. By the way, Prestige had 3 similarly equipped trucks to what i needed on their lot. So much for the 400 mile search that the crooks in Little Falls did for me. I fully understand that car dealers are in business to make money, but these 2 dealerships demonstrated 2 different philosophies of how to go about it. If you want to be lied to and manipulated and played for a fool, then by all means go to Toyota Universe. On the other hand, if you are looking for a civilized experience, go to Prestige. More
