Toyota of Vero Beach is THE place to go for your new car. DAMON FISH hooked me up! He was honest, friendly, down to earth, and ready to work hard to get me in the car I wanted for the price I could afford. C DAMON FISH hooked me up! He was honest, friendly, down to earth, and ready to work hard to get me in the car I wanted for the price I could afford. Customer service is unrivaled at this dealership. Randy, the GM, was very up front and no-nonsense, but at the same time made us feel like old friends. I will go back for anything I need for my new Corolla and would STRONGLY recommend Toyota of Vero Beach to anyone looking for great customer service for a new or used car. This is a real hometown dealership. More
After playing the typical games ath Melbourne Toyota and Bev Smith I called Vero Toyota and asked for the saes dept. I was pleasently suprised when Dennis Lord answered the sales call. I asked him if they h Bev Smith I called Vero Toyota and asked for the saes dept. I was pleasently suprised when Dennis Lord answered the sales call. I asked him if they had a V6 Tundra in stock and he said they had 3 to choose from...I then explained that I had a certain amount to put down and could only afford $400 @month....long story short Toyota of Vero Beach Delivered! I was greeted promptly...recieved a million dollar presentation of the new Tundra...We went inside after the test drive. When Dennis went to his manager to get the numbers I was expecting the "NORMAL Games" much to my suprise tada...they just did my deal no games no gimmicks...the finance manager Candy had us in and out of the buisness office quickly...no complaints and no high pressure from anyone at Toyota of Vero Beach. i have already reccomended Dennis to numerous friends and family members. The whole staff at Vero Beach Toyota should be proud that they have restored my faith in car buying...BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! THANK YOU!!! More
I live in Palm Bay, FL; naturally for convenience, I went to Toyota of Melboure to begin my search for a new car despite the advice on forums and posts. After agreeing to a price for a vehicle, they tried to to Toyota of Melboure to begin my search for a new car despite the advice on forums and posts. After agreeing to a price for a vehicle, they tried to up the price when it came time to sign the paperwork. Realizing that this wasn't an honest mistake as they claim, considering there are so many reviews from other posters pointing out the same incident, we left the dealership, heartbroken and angry. We decided to give Toyota another try, this time at the Vero Toyota dealership on US1 in Vero Beach. We were greeted as we entered the showroom, but not like voltures on dead meat... The sales person smiled, for some reason that shocked me. When we introduced ourselves, they knew who we were since we had email communication with that dealership prior to and during our disaster at Toyota of Melbourne; that made us feel as if they invested in us as shoppers, not just a sale. They even calmly dealt with my bad attitude (since I had such a bad view of dealers after my experience at T.O.M.) and eased my anger into excitement. They took the time to explain the details of what i would be getting on my new vehicle and what was extra. After locating my vehicle, we quickly came to an agreed upon price, they honored the original price settled on at T.O.M. An honorable dealership, who knew they existed? I wish they could do that for everyone that was savvy enough to walk out of T.O.M. Even though Vero Beach is a bit of a drive for us, it was totally worth it. My new car had to come from another part of the region (no one locally had it on the lot) but they had it in one business day! I am now in my new car, loving it, and trying to get my husband to buy his car at Toyota of Vero, and hoping to disuade anyone considering shopping at Toyota of Melbourne just because I don't think people should be treated like that. I appreciate everyone who helped us at Toyota of Vero, thank you for changing my experience. Summer A. More
I went to a Toyota dealer hoping that there would be no communication errors and that I would get the vehicle that I was looking for. Unfortunately Toyota of Vero Beach doesn't use genuine Toyota parts no communication errors and that I would get the vehicle that I was looking for. Unfortunately Toyota of Vero Beach doesn't use genuine Toyota parts nor do they use Toyota definitions when speaking with them. There were a lot of communications errors that happened when speaking with Mr. Thomas. I was looking for a used Tundra with a few options and this dealer had a nice Tundra but without the tow package which I needed. I made it perfectly clear to Mr. Thomas that I was buying the truck to tow with. I stated I wanted the tow package and started going down the list of items that was included in the tow package while we were on the test drive. Ben brushed it off and didn't give a clear answer about all the parts but said he could take care of me. I thought this was great but obviously definition of tow packages differ. After the deal had been made and I had mentioned the tow package probably three times by now he tells me they should be able to get my truck in soon to get the tow package installed. The next Monday Ben called up stating that my "Hitch and wiring" should be ready soon to bring my truck in for install. I asked what about all the other parts that I had mentioned during the purchase and he said he would have to get back to me after he spoke with Randy. After speaking with Randy he called me back the same day and told me that it is going to take another week for the parts to get in and that they will probably need to keep my truck for extra time to install all of the parts. Ben never listed the parts but told me that making me think that the extra time was needed to install the extra parts that were supposedly ordered. After the install I get my truck back and notice that there's a huge black bar under my truck now. It's not the OEM Factory hitch that comes on the tundra's that is bolted on with 16 bolts and tucks under the bumper to hide most of it. It's a local built one installed by another truck shop that is designed much more poorly than the OEM one and is held on by a total of 8 bolts. After talking to Randy, Ben, and Phil they said that there was nothing they could do unless I wanted to buy a new vehicle for 7 grand more and that was it. They offered to install a universal/aftermarket brake controller harness but not a Factory OEM one. I'm thinking this dealer has some sort of deal with a local truck shop. Ben and Randy never once really tried to remedy the problem. The only thing they would tell me was that my truck was fine for what I wanted to do with it and if I needed that stuff then I should probably go buy another truck somewhere else. They tried convincing me every time that my truck was fine for me rather than solving the problem. I went there with a few things that I didn't want to leave without and I got all but one built into the truck and was told that the rest would be installed. That's the long and skinny of the deal. On top of all this after driving the truck for a month I went to go get my tag because the temp one was expiring. I find out at the DMV/Tax collector that I still don't own the vehicle. The dealer still hasn't done the paper work to get me my vehicle. I am now driving around on an expired tag with a vehicle I don't own. This could cause a lot of problems for me especially for where I have to work. They did Fedex/overnight another temp tag to me but the fact remains that they dropped the ball and have made me waste a lot of my time dealing with these issues. A few people at the dealer have not called me back when they have said they were going to. About 50% of the time I got a call from them, other times I would have to contact them otherwise nothing would get done. I've given them days to make decisions, not hours or minutes, and I would get no calls back. Phil Smith backs all decisions done at the dealer and would not give me the time of day to hear about his dealer. I have left the dealer stating that if they are going to lie/screw me over like this then please make it a concerned effort to stop the communication errors you guys are making and please give you guys some training WITH TOYOTA. Perhaps then they will be told what the TOYOTA definition is of a tow package. It says it on their website and everywhere else I've looked. Nobody refers to the Tundra tow package as just a universal hitch and 4 pin wiring. I even stated I needed electric brakes. Everything I said about the tow package to Ben went right over his head. If you are an informed buyer and know what you want then please don't go to Toyota Vero Beach. They are not properly trained on car verbiage to make a sale with 100% transparency. More

Since the lease on my Camry was about to expire, I knew I had to go car shopping - something I had been dreading, because my last experience was not at all pleasant. I had been procrastinating and saving a had to go car shopping - something I had been dreading, because my last experience was not at all pleasant. I had been procrastinating and saving a file folder of new car offers that had been flooding my mailbox recently. Last, week, on the spur of the moment, I grabbed the folder and drove to Toyota of Vero Beach. I thought I'd just have a quick "look-see" at what was available, and then visit some other dealerships before making any decisions. Not wanting to encounter an overzealous sales person right away, I drove around to the service area to collect my thoughts. Since it was after five o'clock, I thought nobody would be there; but Jennifer (the very best Service Advisor ever) was just getting ready to leave. Instead, she listened to my plan and immediately went over to the sales office, soon returning with some preliminary figures for me. Next she asked me to at least go in and meet Joe, the Manager, and Matt, who was exactly the kind of sales person I could relate to (low key and friendly). Jennifer stayed long enough to make sure I was comfortable, bless her heart! Both Matt and Joe were extremely professional and patient, allowing me time to process information without pressure. Even my least favorite decisions regarding service, maintenance, etc. were only mildly stressful, thanks to Steve. As I was leaving, Matt introduced me to Randy, the General Manager and a very nice gentleman. While driving home in my new Corolla, I thought to myself, "I'm so glad that Jennifer was kind enough to stay late and start the ball rolling for me. Now I don't have to think about this for another few years". Thanks to Jennifer and the guys, next time I won't even think about going anywhere else! More
Today I purchased my new 2012 Sienna LE. Prior to making my purchase I made extensive contacts with several Toyota dealers within 100 miles from where I live. I was looking for the best possible deal I coul my purchase I made extensive contacts with several Toyota dealers within 100 miles from where I live. I was looking for the best possible deal I could make on both my purchase and my trade in. Vero Beach Toyota rose to the top of the list. They were at all times friendly, courteous, and professional. All my phone calls and emails were answered promptly with full explanation of details. This is without question the very best experience I have ever encountered at any dealership anywhere. In my opinion they have set the standard that most customers are looking for honest, personable and fair treatment. More
