I found out my GAP insurance was not transferable like the finance person stated. I asked this because once I saw the rate I mentioned I would have my credit union would buy the loan, therefore asking him will it transfer. He said yes. I called JM&A group, and they confirmed that it was a lie! ***Changing my star to a one. *** On May 27th, 2019, I decided to buy my son a car for his graduation gift. I went online, and I viewed two cars from Toyota of Vero beach used car section. I filled out the proper online forms indicating I wanted to look at these cars. Less than 20 mins later a woman called me and told me they have both of the cars on the lot and when can I come in to test drive. I told the women that I would be there less than 40mins. My son and I arrived around 12:30 pm (27minutes after the phone call) to find out that both of the cars were already sold and it looks like they were sold a day or two ago. I was very disappointed! However, my son was excited to get a car, so we stayed and looked around. I was greeted by a saleswoman who stayed with us the whole time, she was friendly, professional and you can tell she wanted to help us get the right car. After about an hour we picked out a beautiful Ford Mustang convertible and agreed on a price. they got me under my $250 per month budget, but this is where things got worse. During the financing, I was told they added a great warranty to the loan because they reduced the car price for me as he handed me the contract to sign. I asked the finance guy what is my deductible for when I bring my car in to be fixed if needed. The guy said let me check…….Oh, it’s a $500 deductible! I was like no thank you. This finance guy rips the contract and prints out another one. This new contract I signed had the interest raised a whole point higher and went from a 60 month to a 67month loan with a 13% interest rate which I did not see it until I got home (my fault)! I was so excited to buy this car for my son. I trusted the finance guy. This guy did not go over anything. He changed the financing interest rate and length of the loan. He almost stuck me with a bogus repair warranty. I also paid approximately $1500 in dealer and processing fees. I am afraid about my gap insurance and need to verify it is transferable and covers more than 100%. A lot of the financing terms I did not find out until I called the bank who approved my loan days later. This is when I found out the true numbers, which made me sick to my stomach. I called my credit union, and they are going to buy back the loan at 4% interest rate for 60months but the bad news I have to pay $1200 out of pocket because the loan to value is too high. More

Feeling scammed’s pain. Went in not really looking to purchase, but after 4 1/2 hours of confusing conversations involving a salesman and finance person, we were worn down an Went in not really looking to purchase, but after 4 1/2 hours of confusing conversations involving a salesman and finance person, we were worn down and purchased a vehicle. Nothing was written down during the conversation, so we had no idea what discounts or trade in was until after we signed. Granted, it is nice and works for our needs, but the payments are way more than we wanted to pay and longer than we wanted to pay. Paperwork was messed up with the lending institution, it took almost 4 weeks to get it straightened out by calling the credit union. Name was messed up on paperwork and registration was incorrect and fixed it after we went to DMV. When we went back to try and sort it all out, was told, sorry, you signed the papers, it’s yours. We were told they would”buy” it back but at a severe financial loss to us. More

Scamed/redeemed I’m a disabled veteran who served in Viatnam. I purchased a new car and was completely taken advantage of. My son found a difference of $11,700 dollars of not only interest rate but additional products tacked on. I went back to address and was told I own that car. I involved my son who re-worked the entire deal (essentially buying again) and was assured previous deal would be nullified. This did not happen and now being sent two payment books. Astonished that anyone would take advantage of a human not to mention a Veteran like this. Even after being told that the sales and finance seized on a opportunity to misled a customer. They admitted to doing so. Please beware Toyota of Vero are criminal. UPDATE: they have redeemed themselves, off course not without persistence. They have addressed all concernes. Corrected paper work and deal. Including adding compensation to my son. In addition to making donations to local church and charities. I must say the general manager Jared should be recognized by his superior as he is a true professional. Best, Saved More
Update: Poor follow through. I reviewed this dealership before and complained because I had not received a title for a vehicle I paid cash for in January. After the review the salesman contacted me (email) and said the title was just put in the mail and would I consider changing my review. Well guess what, still no title. We contacted Laura, the title clerk, and she said she would take care of it (she has said this before) and to give her a couple weeks. They have never been proactive or contacted us. We always have to contact them and then they usually just ignore our emails or messages. Good luck to anybody that buys a vehicle here and has a problem. More
