I came to Knoxville about 4 years ago. At the time I had a 2016 Tacoma. I've had all my services done at Toyota Knoxville. I even traded that Tacoma for a 2021 Tacoma at this dealership. At the time I had a 2016 Tacoma. I've had all my services done at Toyota Knoxville. I even traded that Tacoma for a 2021 Tacoma at this dealership. I've had no problems with the services or the employees , until Monday Sept 16th. When I pulled up to the service bay,I noticed a car in thw far right lane stand to back in as I was pulling in to the center lane. I was rudely told to stop and to let that car go in front of me. When I asked the person that was direction this car to go in front of me, I was told cause she was here first, even though I was already in that lane first. The attitude of this employee was un called for and unprofessional. So after that happened, I had the auto butler and oil change done with no problem. I went to get a rental car and that was fine, until I went to return it it. The woman behind the desk said that I used 7% of the gas. All I did was drive 40 miles round trip in the hybrid cat. Now come to find out, 7% equals 1.6 gallons of gas, and they wantes to charge me a little over $10 to have it " filled " back up ! Not only was she was arguingand being rude to me, again, that was very unprofessional. I know that if I had my tank full and I used 2 gallons of gas, the gas needle doesn't move. Now,, I could of gone to any Toyota dealership, like Fox Toyota, Rusty Wallace Toyota, but no, I chose Toyota Knoxville. So why should I keep going back to Toyota Knoxville ? I would not trust this dealership to give water to a dog, let alone purchase a vehicle or have a service a vehicle of mine. Nor would I trust them to work with anyone else! The purchase went fine. The vehicle however was supposed to have gone through their shop and had its maintenance all up to date and so on as it’s a newer Toyota. Imagine my surprise when another Toyota dealer 2500 miles later tells me the brakes are shot and none of the maintenance was up to date. I called and the manager Jason Carson called back but I missed his call. Called back multiple times and left multiple voicemails with no reply. I would suggest any other Toyota dealer but them, purchasing a Toyota from a Toyota dealer should be a no brainer but having to have a Toyota taken to another shop to have it inspected as said dealer is hiding things? Oh we had the car inspected and it comes with our warranty is nothing but a lie. The worst experience I’ve had at a dealer since I was a young soldier. More
INFLEXIBLE, DISHONEST, UNPROFESSIONAL and RUDE! If this is how you want to be treated, by all means have your car serviced here! I had an appointment at 11:45 and arrived at 11:35. All I had done was an oil change, tire rotation and alignment and two simple filter changes, and my car wasn’t completed until 3:00 pm!!! At 2:00 pm, I had not even heard ONE single status update from my SA Quinton and had to text HIM! He was so lazy, that he called me instead of approaching me with an ETA of when my work would be completed. Finally, at around 3:00, I was approached by Alex (I was just “handed off” without a thought) who stated my car was ready. All Alex did was had me sign for the repairs without even explaining what was done to my vehicle (like any professional would have!) Quentin mentioned that a nail in a tire has to be repaired and that he would coordinate with me on Tuesday; however, when I was thoughtlessly handed off to Alex, Quinton didn’t bother to mention the tire. And it gets worse! Unhappy with Alex, I walked over to Michael Haun’s office (who agreed that the lack of communication and service time was unacceptable) and he told me that the internet was down and I could either wait until the internet was up to pay or he could send me a link. I asked if I could just pay on Tuesday (this is THEIR fault the net was down) when I replaced the tire and he told me NO! Excuse me??? After all I have been through you can’t give me 72 hours to pay a bill that I am more than willing to pay if YOUR internet were working! I asked whose policy this was and Michael said it was his! I told him I will not risk my financial information by clicking on what is likely a third-party link. Not doing it! This unreasonable, inflexible jerk refused to budge. Finally, the net came back online, I paid my bill and will NEVER return! I have NEVER had such an unprofessional and disgusting experience with any other Toyota dealership in the seven years and four states since I have owned this car ! I will have my vehicle serviced at another location from here on out and you can bet I am copying and pasting all of these other bad reviews and sending them to Toyota corporate. The whole department needs to be fired and rebuilt. Bunch of losers! More
I bought a car from them recently, within the last month, and the service I received from them was horrible! I'm not going into detail here because frankly I am sick at all I had to deal with and their half and the service I received from them was horrible! Simply put - bought a car that had issues that were stated would be fixed prior to purchase, but within a week I had to go back to have them REDO it - which was poorly done. On top of that, I had to pay $600 OUT OF POCKET to have something else fixed which should have been done BEFORE the car was purchased. It's really disgusting, to be honest! Do NOT recommend them!
