This is the second time I brought this to DCH Toyota City for repair. The first time I was told the service tech needed to talk to the service manager (Joe Modica) who had left for the day due to illness. I came back for the same item and was told that "the cover is weather resistant, not water proof" and therefore there was nothing that could be done. The leaking is so great that it basically renders the bed of the truck useless. I was offered NO SOLUTION whatsoever. When I asked to speak with the service manager I was told that "he is in the bathroom." I waited for at least 10 minutes and when he did not show after a second call I left. To his credit he called me and offered to give me $250 to purchase an aftermarket cover. Since a good cover costs as much as $800 and the truck is leased their "offer" is totally inadequate. I have purchased 15 vehicles from DCH Toyota City over the years. This kind of treatment of a loyal customer caused me to become a former customer. More

Outstanding Customer Service I bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from the DCH Toyota in November 2015. I have recently been experiencing some engine and acceleration problems. I first I bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from the DCH Toyota in November 2015. I have recently been experiencing some engine and acceleration problems. I first went to a Hyundai dealership to take care of the problem where they charged me, and the engine light went back on in less than 24 hours and they didn't care. Frustrated, I took it to the DCH Toyota Service Center since I purchased the car with dealership. Matthew Rivera was extremely helpful and understanding. While I couldn't get my car fixed at this service center because I have a different engine they went out of their way to help me out and list everything they could find wrong with it so that my diagnosis will be much quicker when I take it to a Hyundai dealership that can fix my turbo. After listening to my awful experience I had at a Curry Hyundai service center Matthew was very understanding and waived my diagnosis fee. The staff at the DCH Toyota are all extremely helpful and attentive to their customers and it really makes a difference. I just want to say thank you. More

DCH goes out of it's way to make sure that it's service customers are well taken care of from the moment you pull into their 'protected from the elements' drive in service center. If you need to stay through the service there is a very nice waiting room with nice seats, coffee, pastries, Wi-Fi, etc. Mathew Rivera, my service consultant, kept me well informed through the repair process and there was no problem picking up my car the morning after the work was finished. Is is a little expensive...yeah. I was charged $296 for a battery that 'lists' for $279 and can be had online for around $250. But honestly, after being overcharged for auto repair work at other Toyota dealerships where they treat you like dirt anyway it was pleasantly refreshing to experience great customer service. BTW, the service center is located at 700 Waverly Ave. in Mamaroneck - NOT at 1305 E Boston Post Rd (the DCH Toyota sales location). More

BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review of this nature, but the events surrounding a recent experience I had with the service center BEWARE! It is seldom that I have had to write a review of this nature, but the events surrounding a recent experience I had with the service center of DCH Toyota City of Mamaroneck, New York has left me with no alternative. I have owned Toyota 4Runners since 1990 and currently own a 2004 which I maintain in a very meticulous fashion. My SUV has 104,000 miles on it and I recently had my check engine light (CEL) and vehicle stability control lights (VSC) illuminate on my dashboard for which I took it in to be diagnosed and repaired. When I arrived everything seemed to go along like clockwork whereby I was able to get my SUV right in and they had the loaner vehicle I had requested ready to go. However, they assigned me with another service consultant to take my initial statement concerning the problem than the person I would ultimately deal with. Within an hour I received a call from the service consultant that my vehicle was reassigned to who was a gentleman by the name of Mike Vetrano, who again asked me to go over the problems the vehicle was having and he said he would call me back. I received another call from Mr. Vitrano approximately one hour later telling me that they had diagnosed the vehicle had a head gasket that was leaking and that it would cost $3,900 to repair, possibly more once they got into it and found some stripped parts etc. Needless to say I was shocked and unprepared for an estimate of this size and asked if they were sure, or if there was possibly anything else that could be done to take care of the problem which wouldn’t cost as much and he said that there wasn’t. I told him I wanted to think about it for a few minutes and would call him back. I next called Toyota of Manhattan whom I have done business with before and explained the escalating saga to them and asked them how much they would charge me to replace the head gaskets on both sides and they came in with a price of $2,600. I then called back Mike Vetrano and explained the competing quote I had received and he came down to $3,450 and quoted "at that price they weren’t making any money", so I asked him to check with his manager, which he said he did and that $3,450 was the best they could do. I told him I would pick up the vehicle and take it to the Toyota dealership in Manhattan. The following morning of March 25th, I drove my vehicle into Toyota of Manhattan and after speaking with their service consultant and the technician that would be doing the analysis and work on my vehicle, I decided to leave it with them. It took two days of testing and repairs, but it was determined that there were no leaky head gaskets, but rather a bad coil on number 6 plug and a carbon build up on the fuel injectors which were causing my vehicle’s problems. I picked up my vehicle on Thrusday, March 27th running normally and my total repair bill was $609.03, a whopping $3,300 savings over the repairs estimated at the Mamaroneck dealership which, I might add, would not have ultimately fixed my problem anyway. It seems to me the level of incompetence at the DCH Toyota City of Mamaroneck should at a minimum be addressed with their entire staff, because it is either incompetence on the part of their management, or an intentional misleading and padding of a bill. Mike Vetrano had brought this to his manager, whom I can only assume was Joesph Modica, on at least two occasions and came back with the same pricing each time. They should be ashamed of the dishonor and shadow these events cast over the Toyota name and a restructuring of the way this dealerships staffing, as well as the way in which they conduct business, should be reviewed and restructured immediately. If this injustice is happening to me, it is undoubtedly happening to others which should scare anyone dealing with this dealership! I no longer trust this dealer and will feel free to share my experience with all that will listen. More
Recently late one night my wife 'potholed' our Highlander Hybrid making it difficult to drive and turning the 'you are skidding' light constantly on. The next day I called DCH Toyota and they sai Highlander Hybrid making it difficult to drive and turning the 'you are skidding' light constantly on. The next day I called DCH Toyota and they said they were happy to see our vehicle and do whatever it took to fix it. I dropped it off around 10:00AM and by 1:00PM it was fixed and for far less money than I had feared. I highly recommend this dealership. From the person who greeted me in their indoors drive in drop-off lane to the greeter to Helene Pesce, my service rep, to technicians who passed by in the waiting area EVERYONE was friendly, courteous, and professional. The service area is clean and comfortable with free coffee and bagels on offer. For those who have to wait for their car to be fixed I note that a variety of tasty lunch spots are a moderate walk away on E. Boston Post Rd (aka Rt 1). Even closer is Walter's Hot Dogs - a local icon. My only criticism (and caveat) is that the person who spoke with me on the phone, knowing that I would be a first time customer, should have made sure I knew that the service center is not at the sales dealership - it is instead at 700 Waverly Ave. That said, as soon as I exited my vehicle at the dealership a salesman came over and gave me directions to the repair facility. Easy in This is about service. Had a small problem with a seat in my new Avalon. Without getting into details, the service folks were outstanding. Easy in and out. Gave me a loaner. Problem was not mechanical - seat was uncomfortable. They sent the car out and had the seat fixed in one visit - took 1 day! I have read that other dealers have not been willing to fix this issue - these guys took me seriously and got it fixed in no time. I really feared I'd have to put up a fight. So glad they did the right thing. Really impressed. 4th Toyota in 10 years. These guys were the best. More

The person my wife spoke to when making the appointment was very friendly and gave her a number of options that were reasonable (not 2 or 3 weeks in the future). When dropping off your car you drive into an indoor drop off area and a valet takes your car. Joe Maglio, one of the assistant service managers, then helped me do all the paper work and explaining that there was a recall that could be taken care of if I wanted that day. The waiting area was very clean and there were comfortable couches/chairs to sit in, Television, magazines and internet. Since I was going to have the recall repair done today which I had not planned on Joe offered me a free ride home. The car was ready on time and I was even offered to be picked up (which I did not need).Joe explained what had been done to the car: Synthetic oil change and filter, tire rotation, check breaks and fluids (top up) and the recall repair. And what did all this great service cost me? 0, nothing, it was all included in the service package that came with the car. I highly recommend DCH Service. I also purchased the car through DCH and that too was an excellent experience (but an other story). Keith Hope More
