We purchased a 2011 Toyota RAV4 from John in August. At the time, we were just looking trying to decide between the RAV4 and Highlander. However, we ended up buying a RAV4. I wasn't ready to part with ou the time, we were just looking trying to decide between the RAV4 and Highlander. However, we ended up buying a RAV4. I wasn't ready to part with our 1994 4-Runner even though John offered us $2,500 for a trade-in. The RAV4 has been sitting in the garage, not being driven, because I prefer the manual transmission in the 4-Runner. (The RAV4 is automatic.) I finally decided it was silly to pay insurance on both vehicles. I contacted John who checked with the used car sales manager and offered $2,000 for the 4-Runner. (This was done via e-mail.) I made arrangements to meet John on Saturday morning, January 7. When we were in the process of signing the documents on Saturday, I asked John about their purchase price which had been lowered to $1,000. John explained the used car sales manager had wanted to pay only $800-900, but he was able to get it up to $1,000. I reminded John about the e-mail. John checked his computer and found I was correct. He was embarrassed and acknowledged that that amount was given to him by the used car sales manager who now denied it. I told John that I could donate the vehicle for that amount and was unwilling to accept the $1,000. John said that I could easily sell the 4-Runner for $2,000-2,500. He even gave me tips on how to do it. By then, our daughter had arrived to pick me up. When she heard what was going on, she responded that the 4-Runner was my baby and had been pampered. I told John that this experience would certainly have a bearing on our future business with Bountiful Toyota. I explained that our daughter and her partner had purchased a Toyota Corolla and Yaris from them previously. (The 4-Runner had originally been purchased here when it was Menlove.) The manager joined the conversation. He offered $1,350 which I declined. The manager went away and came back and offered $1,750. I declined. He offered $1,800. I declined. We were getting ready to leave when the manager came back with the original offer of $2,000. John really went "to bat for us." I really hope he doesn't get in any trouble over this. John just wanted to do what was right. He knew I had driven from Spanish Fork to make this sale. I could have taken the 4-Runner to a closer dealership rather than to Bountiful Toyota. If you go to Bountiful Toyota, ask for John. He'll do what's right. More

I called into Toyota Bountiful one day while I was on Leave from Afghanistan for 2 weeks. Immediately I was sent to a salesman for information when I called. His name was John Kraemer. Can I just tell you I have never had such a great experience at dealerships as I did the day I went to Toyota Bountiful. John was informative, friendly, and hade a lot of experience sharing his views on Toyota vehicles. I was just so happy I was talking to someone that was confident and knew what they were talking about. John helped me out so much that not only did I not go in to look at used trucks.. I went in and bought a brand new 2012 TRD Sport Tacoma! I love it.. wife LOVES it. John personally has assured me while I am out of the country my wife is going to be taken care of via the truck. usually.. I would be ok? but it was really nice to feel I was not talking to a brick wall of a salesman but a man who helped me with the best fit for my family. I have bought a lot of cars over the years from a lot of dealerships. Generally, the experience leaves you drained. Also, other dealerships hold information close to their chests so that you don't know what you are really going to be paying until the very end of the deal. Robert Terry at Toyota Bountiful works in a completely different way. I called up before appearing at the dealership and asked about prices, availability, and expected trade-in values for my vehicles. I got straight, simple answers to all questions and when I showed up, nothing changed!!! The answers to my questions were still the same. There were no supprises!!! My purchase of a Toyota Sienna was the smoothest that I have ever experienced and I strongly recommend both Robert and Bountiful Toyota. The usual close to such a strong positive evaluation might be to state that I will buy my next car from them. However, in my case, I already have! Everything worked so well that I went ahead and traded in my second car for a Prius V model 3. Yes, I dealt with the same individual (Robert Terry) and the same dealership (Toyota Bountiful). More
We are committed LandCruiser fans -- have been for nearly 30 years. As our children have moved on, we decided to move to its immediate offspring, a 2011 4Runner Trail model. We also insist on value. Checking internet offers and dealer invoice prices, Bountiful was significantly lower than the others in the Ogden-Provo corridor, so we started an e-dialogue, then paid them a visit. Entering a dealership typically causes prospective buyers to keep their guard up to avoid being taken in by "special offers" or other too-good-to-believe promises. We met first with Chris B, then Randy and later Robert T. with whom we had the initial e-dialogue. All three were friendly and helpful straight-shooters. After relatively short and friendly negotiations, they agreed to a price that even Larry Miller Toyota's Internet Sales Manager agreed was a heck-of-a deal for a new 4Runner Trail. They also offered us a decent and fair trade-in value for our 1997 LandCruiser although we ended up selling it privately. We checked prices elsewhere and did not find any comparable deals. Moreover, Bountiful had our first choice in color. In short, what we anticipated would involve stressful bargaining and negotiating turned out to be a friendly transaction that, by any standard, presented us with aggressive pricing on Bountiful's part. We were pleasantly surprised and returned a few days later to transact the sale. Having had less positive encounters in earlier years with Mark Miller and Karl Malone Toyota dealerships, we recommend Bountiful Toyota as a proactive and strongly customer-oriented dealership. For Salt Lake and Sandy residents, it's a bit more out of the way, but in our opinion well worth the visit. More
We went to this dealership just looking, not to buy right then. We ended up purchasing that night probably for a couple of different reasons. One being my husband likes Toyota. This is our sixth Toyota vehicle we have purchased. We have had a good track record with these vehicles in the past. Second we both liked the looks and the test drive of the vehicle we purchased. Third, was we were pleased with the trade in offer. And, lastly I felt like they wanted our business, but I did not feel pressured in any way. That it something that puts me off and I tend to walk away. The salesman and all the other staff that we worked with were all very professional. More

We had a very positive car buying experience at Toyota Bountiful. Robert Terry was our salesman. He wasn't pushy at all, but answered all of our questions and helped us in making a good decision.
