I had a pleasant experience buying a new corolla at Toyota Bountiful. Trevette Dolan was helpful over the phone and helping me find the model of corolla that I wanted. Cameron made the buying process easy and answered all my questions. I came in pretty late on a Saturday and they were still willing to help me. Cameron was great, he even picked me up from the airport a few times as my car was getting serviced at the dealership. It helped so much and was definitely a factor in where I purchased my car. The paperwork signing took a little longer than I would have liked due to a broken printer and then there was an error that they had me come in and correct, but the staff was so friendly and helpful it more than made up for it. The service people didn't touch up a couple of small paint dings. We will take the car back for that and our gas will be reimbursed for the trouble of having to come back. The dealership is in Bountiful, Utah and we are in Provo, Utah. We put a down payment on a car, but we had a week to make a final decision and pick the car up or get our down payment returned. During that week a sales manager called us on the phone. We felt pressure from him which we thought was unnecessary and it almost nixed the sale. We did not feel pressure from Jim. We would recommend Jim as a sales person at this dealership. More
We dropped into Toyota Bountiful to look for a used FJ Cruiser. Bill was there to help us with the test drive and to get us the right deal for the truck. What we really loved about bill was that he worked with us, not against us when discussing pricing and payments with upper management. Sales person was deceptive about the condition of the car. Tires were cupped and make a noise at high speed. He turned the radio up during the test drive to mask the sound. Finance manager told me I was signing a Power of Attorney so that, if the payoff balance was less than what was on the contract they would give me back the difference, they didn't and it was $422 different. Salesman told me it would be $2000 to replace the touch screen Nav system and then put in an aftermarket system that retails for $1000, not the OEM Nav system. Most of the steering wheel controls no longer do the functions they are designed/labeled for. I was duped! My temporary license has expired after six weeks and I have not received my regular plates.
