By far the best auto buying experience I have ever had, and I've had quite a few. Jim Sullivan made this very pleasant through his knowledge of the Tundra and his no pressure sales style. After two weeks of visiting a myriad of dealerships and test driving several make and model SUVs, to no avail I might add, I took the recommendation of an acquaintance and tried Toyota Bountiful. During the visit I was extremely impressed at how friendly, knowledgeable, and pleasant the sales consultant and finance expert (Mr. Scott Roper) had been. They made me feel comfortable and it was evident in the way they assisted their customer, they truly care. It's been two weeks now since the purchase of my new 2012 Scion XB at Bountiful Toyota. I can honestly say that I am very satisfied with the transaction and my vehicle. Scott working with manager Auggie Wasmund agreed to the price that I was willing to pay. Thanks to Scott and Auggie I purchased a beautiful car at a great price. There was no high pressure from Kelsey in finance to purchase anything else for the car. She showed respect and professionalism in her transactions. Carol in Accounting was very nice and knowledgeable about out of state licensing. Toyota of Bountiful has a great team of professionals. So if you're looking for a dealer who's honest,knowledgeable,patient,professional and would not pressure you, but rather make you feel at ease with your vehicle purchase transaction, then I highly recommend starting with Scott Argyle at Toyota of Bountiful. As well as I was pleased that he did a great job of following up with us afterwards. Jim made sure to go above and beyond a typical sales associate. I met Chris Barzin on the telephone when he promised to be laid back and not pushy. He more than exceeded his promise, spending many hours over the past two Saturday's helping me find a good used car. He be laid back and not pushy. He explained things clearly and helpfully, encouraged us to drive the car, even drive to our home to see if our garage was wide enough. Late in the day, after being close to happy with a car, but not thrilled, Chris suggested I just try a new Corolla to see how it felt. Well, it felt wonderful. To my surprise, I bought the new Corolla. The last car I purchased, and have been driving ever since was a new 1988 Corolla silver wagon.... from Menlove Dodge Toyota. So 24 years later I now am totally delighted with a new Corolla silver sedan....from Toyota Bountiful. May it last 24 years! Everything about this experience was positive. We had occasion to talk with other sales people who were kind, helpful and pleasant. Chris is a good listener and was a willing partner on the journey to find the right car for us. He was eager to find a car I really liked and when we found it he seemed as joyful as we were. Altogether wonderful! Already owning a Toyota, my husband knows some of the service staff and they recommended that we speak with Scott Argyle regarding our interest in a Prius. When we pulled into the lot at 7:30pm, Scott wa service staff and they recommended that we speak with Scott Argyle regarding our interest in a Prius. When we pulled into the lot at 7:30pm, Scott was waiting for us with a Prius ready for a test drive. Scott was easy to work with and provided us with all of the information we needed/wanted to know about the Prius. The rest of the staff were great as well - we were there until 11:00pm signing the contract and no one complained! We will definately go back to Toyota Bountiful and Scott when the need for the next car comes around! More
This is my second new Toyota with Bountiful Toyota and once again GREAT price + GREAT people! I was able to negotiate in my way and find the model, color, accessories and prices all by texting and phon once again GREAT price + GREAT people! I have a family and a business to run and doing things on my terms and when I had time was paramount. I was trying to work another unnamed Toyota dealer that took days to respond when I asked questions and your team was SPOT on, even when one salesman had the day off, the next stepped in and they didn't miss a beat. I love technology and these guys took care of business and used technology! I will certainly use them again in the future and look forward to using my Toyota Care options at the dealership. I will say this, I needed to have a couple items installed on my new car that they ordered in and I chose to wait for a couple hours as they took care of the installation of those items. About 10 minutes before I left the dealership I saw they had a QUIET LOUNGE and a Full Throttle gym upstairs!!! Really I could have got my sweat on while I waited and I didn't even know about it? Next time I plan to dress appropriately and then sit in peace as I read rather than fill up on hot chocolate, Hot Tamales and pretzels! Let people know about the amazing facility that you have so everyone can take advantage. (That't the cherry on top...) More
We have purchased 3 Toyotas in the past 5 years prior to our recent dealings with Jeff Christison. We finally had taken our business out of state because it just seemed like Utah dealers were more interested in you begging them to sell you a car rather than they need to earn your business. Our experiences had been much better in Nevada and that is where we decided we'd buy all vehicles from now on. In steps Jeff.... on a whim I decided to contact the local dealers for a price via their internet departments before I flew out to Carson City to pick up my new 4Runner or Tacoma. Much to my surprise, I got an immediate response from Jeff at Toyota of Bountiful, and not only was his price right on target, it was a local deal so I wouldn't have to fly to Nevada again! Yahoo! Jeff was extremely helpful through the whole process. Kind and genuine. He's the most honest man I've dealt with in the car business and genuinely cares about his customers. He went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome at the dealership, and when it was all said and done and the exact vehicle I wanted wasn't on the lot he just said "No pressure, we've got one in the pipeline we'll get and I'll give you the price we talked about." (Which was an amazing price!). I'm no rookie when it comes to car buying, and I've dealt with the best of the best and sadly the worst of the worst. Jeff is literally the best of the best of the best. Never have I been treated with as much kindness and respect. To top it all off... when my vehicle arrived my bank acted like a bunch of clowns and Jeff just held the vehicle from being sold for me and we worked out the issues the next day without a problem. Then when I got the check for the vehicle, but wasn't going to be able to get a ride to Bountiful from Orem that night because of a recent back surgery, then Jeff just drove the thing down for me and brought the remaining paperwork for myself and my wife to sign. He and one of the lot techs just caravaned down to our house together and Jeff came in and finished the deal in our home outside of his normal worktime (about 9:00 at night) because it wa most convenient for US. What a guy! I will never buy from another dealer again. That's a promise. I will call Jeff first every time and we'll strike a fair deal for both of us. Maybe I just gave up all of my bargaining power by saying that... but Jeff isn't the type of guy that would use a positive review against a buyer. :) He's a genuinely good man that works in a field where there are some that give the whole business a bad name. He knows his stuff. His co-workers are all friendly as well, and as I've had a question here or there about different features or special order accessory parts Jeff has emailed or called back almost immediately with all of the info I need. He won't sell you something you don't need, he won't badmouth other dealers, he won't even badmouth other car manufacturers. He just does his best to help you as a customer locate the vehicle you need and frankly I can't tell you how much that means to me. It takes 75% of the stress out of the process because there is no hard sell. Just an honest guy who is great at what he does. I'd absolutely recommend this dealership for your new car purchases. I've worked in the business as an independent mechanic and I've sold quite a few vehicles myself on my own, but I've never encountered somebody with the knowledge and all around good that Jeff has. I am NOT the type to write online reviews, but for Jeff, I'll gladly vouch for him any day and would give him a personal reference to anybody who asked. Top notch guy, top notch dealership, and I didn't have buyer's remorse for 1 second. That's a first for me in the car buying experiences of my life. Thanks Jeff! We're loving our new Tacoma!!! More
