I was not satisfyed with the service department after 3 repeated visits. I recived my vehicle back with NEW issues that were introduced by the extensive recall repair by towne toyota. After they had my veh repeated visits. I recived my vehicle back with NEW issues that were introduced by the extensive recall repair by towne toyota. After they had my vehicle for 10 days my Check engine light came on two days after they returned it to me, spare tire came loose, they broke my U-Joint and proceeded to tell me it was my fault and then tried to sell me an entire new driveline for $1500. I took it to my local shop they replaced the U-Joint for $120. BIG Rip Off!!! They also charged me over $600 in unauthorized repairs. My Battery went dead too. Marty the tech told me two weeks after they had retured the vehicle that they could not keep a charge on my battery. The next week my battey was dead. I found out they shorted out part of my Alpine Audio Navigation system and never told me about it. I was insulted and humiliated by Micael Elston and was told that NOTHING would make me happy by Eric Dix after all this happened. They got paid over $10,000 for this recall repair paid for by toyota and promised my vehicle would be in better shape than when i gave it to them. All I wanted was the vehicle back fromn the recal as good as it was when I gave it to them. It wasn't!!!I have contacted Toyta corporate and have a case implimrnted regarding the Extreamly poor service department. DO Not Go to this Toyota Dealer. They also own toyota of Morristown and every other car dealer named TOWNE. All in all the FREE repair has cost me almost $2000. Thanks Towne Toyota,Moving Forward??? Seriously! More

My car didn't start one morning & it was stuck at my house the guys at Towne not only came out to see what was wrong but they picked me up at my job. They ended up getting it started, followed me back t house the guys at Towne not only came out to see what was wrong but they picked me up at my job. They ended up getting it started, followed me back to the dealership to ensure everything was fine, and washed, waxed and vacuumed the car!! They were amazing in customer service standards, they went above and beyond but made it seem like it was no big deal. This of course made it a bigger deal to me! I run my own retail store & I made sure I shared this story on my district conference call the next day. You have made me a customer for life!! More

However, a simple, quick look see, would have shown Dave, that the Weather Stripping is NOT under anything - and is simply just a Strip that is Finger-Pushed in place all around the interior door frame. The fact, that Dave was just too lazy to inspect the area, a few feet from his office, and that the total bill would have been $235.00, had I Not simply just pushed in the top part that was hanging Myself. Of course, He could have done so as well. Sadly, that a 60 year old, 100 pound Woman, can do, what a General Manager at a car dealership cannot. More
All I can say is that Lisa and the staff in service make you comfortable with what is being done and why. Their recommendations and advice are great. And I have to say..my experience at other dealers has you comfortable with what is being done and why. Their recommendations and advice are great. And I have to say..my experience at other dealers has made me avoid dealerships due their lack of listening concerning the reason for my visit. This is never the case at Town Toyota, and Lisa is a real asset to the dealership. Referrals prove it is my belief, I have sent multiple people in to shop for cars, and they have all come back to me and thank them for the referral, and they too feel there is no need to avoid the dealer for servicing. And some of them are now your repeat customers. All I can say is thanks, and I have been forced on the road to visit other Toyota dealers, and no the service and concern is not the same. In fact when I do have service at another dealer, I stop in and ask them to double check the work. That is true confidence. More

I have been bringing my 2004 Toyota Corolla to Towne Toyota for more than 5 years. The service department is well organized and efficient, and the people are friendly and helpful. I was due for a 65,000 mile oil change on a 2005 Toyota Celica. I had just gotten a coupon in for a service and alignment and I thought I'd get both done since I’d recently gotten new tires. The car wen Celica. I had just gotten a coupon in for a service and alignment and I thought I'd get both done since I’d recently gotten new tires. The car went in with the steering wheel at the 11:58 position at 2PM. 2 hours later; they told me my car was done. I paid for the service and alignment and left the dealership. As soon as I got on the road, I almost hit the car in the left lane. My steering wheel had to be at the 12:07 position for the car to go straight! I took a U-turn and went right back to the dealership. When I reached the dealership, Dave Durnal told the technician who performed the alignment to take the car for a road test with me. This is the first lie; even though the service and alignment description both "Road Test Vehicle", the road test couldn’t have been done because of the condition I received the car back in. Not to mention that I was standing outside since the time the car came off the alignment rack and I did not see them take it for a road test. After the road test, the technician took the car back into the shop and rotated the tires. The second lie since the service description I performed stated "Rotate Tires”. They rotated the tires and told me that I was good to go. I got back on the road and the same thing happened. Again, I took the U-turn and went right back to the dealership. I walked in again saying that I need this fixed and I want to be dropped home or I want a loaner car until the problem is fixed. Dave told me that there's nothing more they can do and that they "don't want to deal with this vehicle anymore since we did all we could" I asked if they would revert the alignment to what it was earlier since it was much better then. Dave didn’t answer my question and went to say “Our machine isn’t wrong” and that I would be refunded. He then went on to say that my tires are bad. I told Dave that my tires are new high quality (Michelin Pilot Exalto Sport) and have less than 500 miles on it. Dave still argued and told me that my tires are causing my problems since everything they did and checked is 100% right. Dave also went on and told me that I should get tires from them so they can properly balance them and gave me prices for that. I told Dave that the likelihood of tires causing this is extremely slim and incorrect balancing would cause vibration instead but Dave ensured that the problem was with my tires and showed with his attitude that he didn’t want to discuss this matter any further. It was 6:00 PM, 6 hours after I dropped the car off and I had not eaten lunch so I just took my car and left. The next day in Connecticut (I had to drive 3 hours which is another reason I was extremely upset), I took my car to a 3rd party repair shop (Modern Tire) where they performed an alignment within 25 minutes. Now my steering wheel is straight and my car goes straight. There was nothing wrong with the tires. According to the technician, Toyota didn’t have my steering wheel straight when they performed the alignment. I do not recommend this dealership to anybody. I thought they'd take care of a semi rare car (2005 Celica GT with Action Package), I was highly mistaken. Did I mention that after I saw my car go through the oil change, the rear bumper was dislodged from the left side. Of course, when I told the technician he told me that the damage was already there (No it wasn't, I'm really secure with my car). More
Towne Toyota in Ledgewood has the best Parts Department of any car dealer I have ever visited. I have only owned Toyota/Scion vehicles since 1985, purchasing these vehicles at Toyota dealers and privately of any car dealer I have ever visited. I have only owned Toyota/Scion vehicles since 1985, purchasing these vehicles at Toyota dealers and privately. I do my own repairs on them. I discovered very early during this time that Towne Toyota had a "Do It Yourself" program which not only gave me a discount on original equipment parts, but great service on the small parts I had the need to order. The countermen, Al Perotti, Steve Brady, and Dmitri, always take the time to specify the parts I need. They show me a diagram of the vehicle section from which I need repair parts, allowing me to choose exactly what I need. This is very valuable to me, because only the proper parts are ordered, saving me time in vehicle repair. Parts ordered are almost always delivered the next day. I also purchase cases of oil filters and T-IV trans fluid for regular maintenance. Because of the great Towne Toyota Parts Department, I have purchased two pick up trucks there (1994 and 2003) and have brought friends there who have purchased vehicles (2001 and 2005). I always give Towne an opportunity to give me their best price on a new Toyota or Scion vehicle I purchase, even though there are Toyota dealers closer to my home. More
