If I could I would give no stars I could. I bought my VW there. BIG mistake!! I also purchased my extended warranty there.. However, If it needs work done on it - which has been often, I have to take it out there. BIG mistake!! I also purchased my extended warranty there.. However, If it needs work done on it - which has been often, I have to take it out to Bowmansville. I feel that they should either fix it where it was purchased or take the responsibility of getting it to a different location. I truly wish I had never bought my car there. More
Service department is A+ I purchased my Hyundai Santafe new from Towne many, many years ago. I've always brought it to them for major service and inspections. I've done brakes I purchased my Hyundai Santafe new from Towne many, many years ago. I've always brought it to them for major service and inspections. I've done brakes myself and had tires done elsewhere because of the brand of tire I wanted. Both the dealership as well as Hyundai have been extremely helpful and fair to me. They're flexible and I always have gotten a loaner from them. I don't feel that I was ever treated unfairly nor was I up-charged for repairs that I didn't need. They have even assisted me with out of warranty repairs that Huyndai covered. I hope that they can find a used vehicle that I want, or that I could afford another new car because I'd really like to do business with them again. More
Incompetent Poor service department. Do you want your oil overfilled almost every time because they don't seem to check the level before sending the car out? C Poor service department. Do you want your oil overfilled almost every time because they don't seem to check the level before sending the car out? Come on down to the Towne Hyundai. Or how about bait-and-switch-like policies for their coupons, promising on their $79.95 transmission service coupon "Replace Transmission fluid with Hyundai Genuine Transmission fluid" but then charging you extra to actually put in Hyundai Genuine Transmission Fluid because it's "synthetic"? When confronted about what type of "regular" fluid they use, their employee said (on 8/20/15 at 9am) "honestly, I don't know". Oh, and they want to charge ~$170 to use the correct fluid for an Accent. Lastly, how about misunderstanding that a car with 60,000+ miles on it was in for the 60,000 mile service, and wasting everyones time by not performing that service. I'd rather drive the car into the ocean than bring it in for service to Towne Hyundai. edit: To their credit, they ended up reducing the $170 cost after some arguing, but it shouldn't take an argument. I've also reached out to Hyundai corporate about their business practices and this poor experience. More
