Don't Waste Your Time Getting REPAIRS/SERVICE WORK here I originally got my car repaired for collision damage. IT was not done right..the Exterior Strip was coming off of the car and had to take it back not once..not twice...but THREE times to get it repaired.the Right Way. The first time I took car back, The service guy Zach Preddy just basically popped off the exterior strip himself and realigned it and sent me on my way. I did not feel this should have been procedure, as Zach is not a body shop man so he was just basically winging it. I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking okay maybe it is a super easy fix and left. He said if it comes off again, he would order a new part. I came back to the store again about 20 mins later..the strip seemed loser on one side of the car, while the other side had no give and was much tighter seal. I could hear wind coming in on the looser side so I felt like it was not repaired right and could possibly pop off again. He sat there and argued with me...that he wont order another part..when this strip is not defective. Well..I queried, Why did it pop off in the first place IF its not defective then?? . He was very dismissive of me...and was lazy in my opinion. He still did not even take the car back to the service guys to let them take a look since they are the experts. ?He Refused to order a new strip for the car. I explained that I was taking a Cross Country Trip soon in this car...and DID NOT want to take chance that the strip comes off again. He did not seem to care..only telling me that there was no wind coming in...again arguing with me about it. I offered him my Keys to let him see for himself..There is definitely wind coming in on that side of the car..but he sat there and tried to make me feel stupid and would not drive the car. I left and let him know that if the strip came off again..my husband would be back with the car and he would NOT be happy about it. Well.. four days later my husband had to take the car back...when the Strip came off yet again. I was right..it WAS DEFECTIVE. I called and talked to a MGR. as I was done dealing with Zach. I let the mgr know we Must have a new strip ordered...before we leave town. And if this had been done...when I originally had asked to have it done..if Zach had listened instead of Argued...we would not be having this conversation. This Dealership should Really teach its employees like Zach to LISTEN to their customers. And if they are not good LISTENERS..then they need to find a new job. More
Got ripped off!!! I couldn't get my truck out of park. I researched this before taking it in for service and knew I it needed a part that cost at the most about $130. T I couldn't get my truck out of park. I researched this before taking it in for service and knew I it needed a part that cost at the most about $130. The service department told me I had to have the entire gear shift mechanism replaced. I argued with them and argued with them and told them I researched this before I brought it to them and I told them they were flat out lying to me. It ended up costing me almost $1000 to get my truck fixed instead of maybe $300. They totally ripped me off. I have nothing good to say about this dealership and I will never ever buy a vehicle from them or go to their service department. I will go to a different dealership which is a little further away. They ought to have their dealership license revoked for all the scams they pull. More

He made sure I had a rental car since my car would be in the service department for a couple days! He always called me with updates to make sure I knew what was going on. Service Issue, issue since resolved I have updated this review since publishing. Originally gave a 2 star rating because no one reads the 1 and 5 star ratings unless they are happy or mad. The in-between are typically the real stories, so I am changing it to a 4 because they did make a strong effort to make things right. They corrected the concerns I had and made me feel better about taking my GT there again. I had also mis-titled a person involved as district service manager when the real title is Service Director. Back in November I purchased a used, 2015 Mustang GT. It had ~1900 miles on the clock. I noticed a squeaking noise coming from the driver side front suspension area shortly after purchase. It is to be noted I purchased this vehicle on a week where it was constantly raining, I assumed the squeak had something to do with that... it didnt. I took it to Town East Ford after a month or two to do an oil change and to find out where this noise is coming from. However during that visit they found "nothing". I had also inquired about not receiving a driver side floor mat that was to be included, a secondary key, and spare tire, as well as issues I had with Sync 2. My sales guy had informed me to ask service for a key and mat that was supposed to come with the car, however if you purchase a non certified car, these items may not come with the vehicle, mine was probably a "repo". I also asked for a spare because it did not come with one, so I inquired about it, most vehicles as I found out later do not get a spare unless specified. I ending up leaving that visit with just the oil change. (I have all service records available for each visit). No answer for the missing items, and the noise was ignored. I just thought I was being picky, so I left it alone, but I ended up coming back shortly after for the same issues and Sync 2 was not working. Finally, Sync was fixed and again, squeak was not fixed. In April I took my car back again. This was the visit when they started trying to repair the squeak which didn't work. I brought it back at another point a week or so later, problem was not fixed... once again. They had replaced multiple parts at this point. Then per my Service Advisor, Ford told Town East Ford to stop trialing and error'ing on the squeak issue on my car. He stated if they put on another part that did not fix the issue, Ford could sue them. Why was this my problem? I dont know. But I held off. May comes around, and I need a new oil change at ~7500 miles. Oil change done, and they take another try at the squeak. Well problem was not solved and at this point I've been in 2 different rental vehicles, both inappropriately charged to Ford for warranty work instead of my MPP plan. Why is this a problem? You are limited on the days you can have a rental with Ford supposedly, and guess what, they are used up... at 8k miles... so then late May I took it back again, received a 3rd rental vehicle that was charged correctly. This time the dealer fixed the original issue of the squeak, but (as I later found) broke the backing plate. Original problem was a bad bushing. I took it back one week aftet the repair and showed them the noise of the plate scraping the rotor (I didnt know what it was until later). The Service Director came out, told me it was a common noise made by the brakes due to the constant pressure being applied and had me drive a new red 5.0 to see if it made the same noise. I told him the noises were not the same, he stated they were and we parted ways shortly after, I was determined to get it fixed though. Now the backing plate is not a critical part, but it was an issue, maybe not big enough for them to fix that day, but it was scraping my rotor, and they broke it without owning up to it initially. I ended up having to take my car to Randal Reed's Prestige Ford, and the problem was fixed that day in about a half hour to an hour. These were legitimate mechanical issues I had, and it would have been nice to have that care and customer service I recieved after writing this review from the beginning. We are all humans though, and like I stated above they did own up to their mistakes as a company through Kevin Miner. More
Not doing what they charge for. My wife bought a new (to Her) Ford Fiesta. She decided that she wanted to take het car to the dealership for oil changes. I told her that the price they want is outrageous and a total waste, you can get an oil change for about a quarter of the price elsewhere. She started listing off all of the extras that Ford does including tire rotation, so I relented. Fast forward a year and we are driving down the road and her low air light comes on, I go to top off the air and notice that the front tires are completely bald down to the nubs, but the back tires look brand new. I tell her about it and say she needs to make sure her tires are getting rotated because Town East is ripping her off. She goes today to get he oil changed and ask about why her tires are not being rotated. She is told that they were rotated and this is some form of rapid wear, they cant rotate them now due to the "rapid wear" and she must get new tire for seven hundred and eighty dollars. More
HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT I took in my 2012 F150 because there was a leak. The first time they changed something completely different and still a leak. They thought the 2nd tim I took in my 2012 F150 because there was a leak. The first time they changed something completely different and still a leak. They thought the 2nd time around would work, YET still a leak. The 3rd time they changed the water something or other then charged an additional $700 AND STILL A LEAK. So, now I am out $1300 total, and in there for the FOURTH time to find out that it was a hose and would be finished in 25 minutes. The entire service department is INCOMPETENT and no refund whatsoever!!! You would think Ford would be able to service Ford vehicles, but no. The service manager did nothing. More
took truck in for coolant flush. Their technician busted my radiator. They charged me $900+ for something THEY broke! my truck has never had a leak of any kind EVER, until now!! I took my truck in busted my radiator. They charged me $900+ for something THEY broke! my truck has never had a leak of any kind EVER, until now!! I took my truck in for a Pressurized coolant flush. 6.0 diesel. Todd Patti (service adviser) comes to me 20 mins. later and says. the EPA won’t let them do the pressurized test on these trucks because of the amount of coolant in them. I go back and talk to the mechanic and he tells me " we do pressurized test all the time on these trucks. I just couldn’t find the tool we use to do it with!" lie #1. I get my truck home and smell coolant all the way(i figured it was because they had spilled a little pouring it back in.) I look under my truck and see a steady drip. I have never had a leak in my truck before!! I take it back the next a.m. Todd calls me later and says my radiator is split on the bottom! there is no way! it has NEVER LEAKED IN THE PAST! they had me over a barrel now! i HAD to get it replaced per Todd Patti. I smell coolant BAD the whole way home! pop the hood. my radiator is EMPTY w/a huge puddle under my truck!!! drop it off AGAIN the next a.m. Todd never calls me. I have to call him for ANY information during this 3 day ordeal! he States he has a mechanic a technician and HIS boss trying to figure out where the leak is coming from. it take 3 guys 8 hrs. to find out it was leaking from a faulty hose clamp! that the technician installed during the coolant flush!! they NEVER ADMITTED it being their fault and replaced a perfectly good radiator and charged me $900!!!. Keep in mind i have NEVER had a leak in my truck! NEVER until they caused it. More
