Our intention was to find and obtain a suitable car, with relatively low miles, and costing below $ We went to the ford dealership in mesquite, Texas. Our intention was to find and obtain a suitable car, with relatively low miles, and costing below $10,000. With extensive knowledge regarding the smoke and mirror ploy carried out by the hierarchy staffing any dealership, we found solace and fortitude in the car salesman who initiated the interaction. As the manager stepped aside, and as the director stepped in, 21 year old Michael Freeman, Jr, the greeting initiator, maintained a personal connection with us. M.F.J. was sincerely helpful, exceedingly friendly, and persistently honest, courteous, respectful, and kind. From the point we entered the facility, to the time we were shown to our shiny new 2016 ford focus, we had come to admire this young man and his steadfast dedication towards a positive outcome to a typically unnerving endeavor. This young man should be compensated for the extra time he dedicated to us on his day off. Excellent work, son! More

Love the car, hate the sneaky tricks Came over because my wife saw a used explorer online for $29k. We fell in love with it and we proceeded to haggle over the price. I wouldn't let them run my credit because we were still shopping around so they estimated an 8% interest rate which was $500 per month and out of my budget. They would not give me an estimate with a 4% interest rate that I knew I could qualify for and we left without making a deal. I called on the way to another lot and offered $2k down if they could lower their price just enough to get me within my budget at $450. They said they would need to run my credit before they could go any further so I agreed. I was called back and told I could get the car for $478 per month and since my wife loved the car so much, I agreed and we returned to purchase the car. They were closing and my 8 months pregnant wife was tired so they rushed thru the paperwork so we could drive an hour back home. Everything was great until we got home and realized that my interest rate came back so well, they actually RAISED the price of the car! When they realized I was willing to pay $478 per month, they INCREASED the price of the car from $29k to $30.5k! Instead of telling me I would actually be paying less than or equal to what my budget was with my great interest rate, they snuck in a higher price and took advantage of a young couple with a growing family. Talked to the manager the next day and was told that my interest rate came from a different lender than they normally use so we didn't qualify for a "rebate" and the $29k price but it was still cheaper per month than the rate I would have gotten with the original price and the lender they normally use. Called another ford dealership today and was told that wasn't true. Nothing I can do about it now but warn everyone to stay away from the used car salesmen at this dealership. They The only thing keeping this review from being a 5 star rating is the dishonesty. More
