Every time I’ve gone to the service center I’ve had an amazing experience. The service manager Krista is amazing and ensures that customers are well taken care of. She assisted me in securing a rental. amazing experience. The service manager Krista is amazing and ensures that customers are well taken care of. She assisted me in securing a rental. More

My personal opinion, the length of time my car was in service is crazy. Ford should have given me a car to use while services took almost a month. The communication between the customer and service advis service is crazy. Ford should have given me a car to use while services took almost a month. The communication between the customer and service advisor needs improvement. When questions are asked in chat, they should be answered promptly. Erica was very nice but I expected more. More
I was quoted one price for the use of a rental car and had to pay double that amount. The original problem has still not been repaired. My vehicle was in the dealership repair shop for thirty days and is had to pay double that amount. The original problem has still not been repaired. My vehicle was in the dealership repair shop for thirty days and is still not fixed. I asked for the price of new tires and was told they would let me know but have still not been told anything. Two parts are on backwater.I asked if they had ordered them and have still not been told anything. And the representative I spoke with at the dealership now ignores my calls and texts. I regret ever having purchased a ford truck and will go out of my way to avoid any ford product in the future. More
Buyer BEWARE! ! - Unethical/Unfair Business Practices at Town East Ford (TEF) by Berkshire-Hathaway. On 7/29/24, I took my 2022 Bronco with 17300 miles to TEF Se ! - Unethical/Unfair Business Practices at Town East Ford (TEF) by Berkshire-Hathaway. On 7/29/24, I took my 2022 Bronco with 17300 miles to TEF Service for a leaking, driver-side CV Axle Shaft. I explained I had noticed the buildup of grease around the CV Axle Shaft boot over a year ago when I was removing the driver-side fender liner to install an oil debris catch can and noticed grease on the fender liner above the CV Axle Shaft. And, I did not mention my observations the two prior times I had my Bronco in for service at TEF Service (4/24/24 and 9/14/23), because I figured if it was something significant, TEF Service Techs would have noted it during their inspections of my Bronco (which they SHOULD have done) and would have remedied any problem. I further explained it was my Bronco lift components Installer who told me that the CV Axle Shaft was leaking and needed to be addressed by Ford Service. I was told by TEF Service Consultant, Edgar Juarez that TEF may not cover the repair under warranty, because my Bronco has been lifted. I argued 1), all of the lift components were installed on my Bronco within the past 30 days 2), my Bronco has NEVER been off-road and 3), I first noticed the buildup of grease around the CV Axle Shaft boot over a year ago and since that time my Bronco had been in TEF Service TWICE and nobody with TEF Service said anything about the leak, leading me to believe it was of no concern, UNTIL my off-road parts Installer emphasized the seriousness of the leak!! Mr. Juarez said that any repair still may not be covered under warranty. At that, I demanded a written statement to the effect from TEF Service and stated I would take my Bronco elsewhere and pursue remedy through Ford Corporate and/or by other legal means. Mr. Juarez said he would speak with the Service Manager and left. He returned with TEF Service Drive Manager, Mr. Jim Artrip. I presented the same argument to Mr. Artrip. Mr. Artrip urged me to leave my Bronco with TEF Service and, extending his hand to shake my hand exclaimed, “We’ll do you right!” I, being one who always hopes for the best out of people and as one who values a “Man’s Word as His Bond,” I shook Mr. Artrip’s hand and trusted the appropriate repair would be made to my Bronco CV Axle Shaft and would be done under warranty, as it should be! Well, I was WRONG!!! On 8/1/24, I received a text message from Mr. Juarez where he stated only, “Hello this is Edgar with Town East Ford, I have an update on your Ford Bronco.” I replied to Mr. Juarez’s Text with a phone call to him, to discuss my Bronco. Again, he stated that the repair of my CV Axle Shaft would not be done under warranty, that both, the TEF Service Tech and a TEF Service Tech Supervisor denied the repair as being warrantable. Here’s the Bottom Line and the REASON I am in the predicament I am in: TEF is owned by the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive (BHA) group, which is owned by multi-billionaire Warren Buffett. I have experienced a similar refusal to complete warrantable work on a different Ford truck, at a different BHA group dealership, also in Texas! That experience was so terrible, I vowed never to buy a vehicle from a BHA group dealership. In my zeal and excitement to purchase a new Bronco, I failed to check as to whether or not TEF was affiliated with the BHA group. It was only after I made the purchase, I realized my mistake! FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE FROM TOWN EAST FORD OR ANY BERKSHIRE-HATHAWAY AUTOMOTIVE GROUP DEALERSHIP!!! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL REGRET IT! I am taking the time to also notify the Consumer Affairs Division of the State of Texas, Office of the Attorney General and Better Business Bureau. As Consumers, we MUST expose unfair and unethical business practices and business like Town East Ford that mistreat their customers by bullying them and by attempting to ignore their responsibility to be accountable for providing honest goods and services!!
