Toothman Ford - Service Center

Horrible experience, horrible jeep, and horrible service. Purchased it in September, few days later it overheated and the engine light came on. I took it back and they said there was nothing wrong and insist Purchased it in September, few days later it overheated and the engine light came on. I took it back and they said there was nothing wrong and insisted I took it home. Few days later it’s overheating again. Had to have it towed in which they did not pay for not to mention I live an hour away. They still said nothing was wrong and tried to get me to take it home again. I refused to take it home since obviously something was definitely wrong, after 2 weeks of having it they finally said it needed a motor. They said they didn’t have a loaner for me to drive at the time so I had to pay and rent my own car until they got one in. That took 2 weeks. Once I got the loaner it was in horrible shape and definitely not safe with brake issues. Two months I finally got it. I had only driven it for one week total. So that was November 2nd, yesterday it broke down on me with several lights on. I took it to my local garage and had it repaired so I didnt have to go there again and them keep it forever. Now today 2 lights came on and here we are. 5 months and 4 different visits for repairs. Not dependable at all. I will never buy there again and would not recommend them to anyone. More

Was told the cost of a new battery was$444! And I was charged $100 service fee tech to test battery. Had to pay the $100 to get me car out of the service bay. Then went to a local auto parts s And I was charged $100 service fee tech to test battery. Had to pay the $100 to get me car out of the service bay. Then went to a local auto parts store and had a new battery installed, saving $100. I bought this used vehicle just three months earlier. You would think Toothman’s would help out on the cost of the battery, but no. They even wanted to charge me an extra $35 to install it. More

They do not stand behind their cars. I bought a 2016 Ford Escape with under 31,000 miles in several months ago and less than 2 months after I bought it started randomly stalling. When it stalls I can't go past 1.5 RPMs. I've had to pull over on the interstate because of it! When I took it in for repair they refused to help me out and wanted over $700! to fix it even though I just bought it. Do NOT buy your next car here. Take your business elsewhere and go to dealer that will actually stand behind what they sell. More
