Ralph was the first person we worked with here. His energetic and friendly demeanor impressed us immediately. On our way to another dealer we had briefly glimpsed on the road a small Dodge that really caught my eye (the vehicle we were going to buy would be "my" car, so it had to be something I really liked that could also accommodate my 6'5" husband, adult son and two grandkids routinely, and my elderly mother occassionally). The car I'd seen on the road turned out to be completely unsuitable, but while we were extricating ourselves from that car Ralph managed to bring over two other vehicles that captured the style and "feel" of the first car, but provided the interior space we needed and an impressive array of features. We made it clear that we loved one of the Journeys but price was an issue. We had to leave abruptly (grandchild 911), so Ralph could have written us off as "lookers only" but didn't. When we returned a couple of weekends later, he greeted us warmly and spent a lot of time assisting us. We left, saying we'd let him know in a day or two if we thought the Journey was a finalist. When we revisited the other dealer for a 2nd road test, we realised that the Journey had it beaten hands-down. Because we really loved everything about the Journey except the price (we're cash-only people), Ralph and his mgr, Jake, worked hard to get us every possible discount and rebate to get the price down to a figure we could manage. Then, because I was returning to the road after a 12-yr hiatus due to poor health and couldn't get a license driving test until the following day, we faced the unusual problem of needing to get 2 vehicles home with only 1 licensed driver. Though it was now after closing time, Ralph graciously offered to ride with me (making my driver's permit legal), all the way to the western edge of Forest Grove, with my husband following in his Ram Diesel truck, so we could park the truck and ferry a very tired Ralph back to Dick's Country Dodge where his own car was parked. He refused any gratuity for this great favor! About a week after purchasing the car, we got an invitation from the Service dept. staff to attend a new-buyer's clinic, explaining how to get the most out of the Service dept, the shuttle service available, which of our brochures were important to read closely, and making sure we understood the various warranties, even giving us lots of opportunities to ask any questions we might have had about our vehicles. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! I can see why my husband still takes his truck there for oil changes and everything else, even though he's past his warranty periods. More

I had the BEST experience with this dealership. I called on Friday night right before they closed and spoke to Randy's assistant, Amanda. She said she would let Randy know I was coming in the morning and he called first thing Saturday morning to make sure I had directions and knew how to get there. When I arrived, he already had the car pulled up front for me. We went around the entire car and he answered any questions I had. When I test drove it, he took me on back roads which helped me get a feel for how the car handled... instead of driving on the freeway. We were on a strict timeframe and he worked with us and made sure the process was complete, from the beginning to end in 2 and a half hours!!!! The finance guy, Dirk was hilarious and fun to work with and knew what he was talking about. The entire process was so relaxing (Not a word you think about when purchasing a car). I would recommend these guys to ANYONE in the market for a new or used car. More

I went into Dick's Auto Group to look at a Dodge Nitro listed on Craigslist for sale.
