On Monday afternoon, March 17, 2025, my wife and I went there. I wanted to purchase a 1500 RHO as a birthday gift for her. A middle-aged man greeted us. I forgot his name because he was not important in this matter. He first let us test drive a white one. He sat behind the wheel and did not give any explanations about the car throughout the process. When I asked questions, he had no idea how to answer. Then we returned to the office. Immediately, Ms. Amanda appeared. Remember her name. She was the mastermind behind this. She negotiated the price with me forcefully, using the most outdated language and confusing expressions. Finally, we reached an agreement at 82,000 OTD. I immediately signed to have them check the credit score and the authorization documents for the bank loan. Then my wife and I said we wanted to leave because it was time for my children to go home from school. She rudely demanded that one of us stay to complete the transaction. Such unprofessional language made me feel disgusted, but I still politely said we would come back. After that, we sent the children home and decided to go to Carmax nearby to inquire about the current price of pickup trucks for sale, so that we could save some time when meeting Ms. Amanda. But unexpectedly, Carmax was so busy that we waited for a long time, which prevented us from completing the transaction with Ms. Amanda on the same day. This was the beginning of my nightmare. The next day, I called this car dealership on my own initiative. The person answering the phone was a man named Ruben. He claimed to be the sales manager. Remember his name. He was the worst among all. And he said that he would handle the rest of the transaction. He told me that he had passed the credit test completely and had received loan certifications from three banks. Then I clearly told him that I had already agreed on the price with Ms. Amanda, which was 82,000. He completely didn't believe what I said. He was calculating the so-called correct price by himself. He didn't admit the agreed price and lied that this high-end pickup truck couldn't be sold to me at such a low price. This was unacceptable to me. So I told him that the transaction could be postponed. I wouldn't waste any more time with him. The next day, Ms. Amanda contacted me to apologize and said she would respect the 82,000 figure. However, her subsequent actions made me feel deceived and fooled. She first told me that someone else was willing to pay a higher price to buy the same car. At the same time, she urged me to complete the transaction as soon as possible. She said she would wait for my message until 1:00 PM. I called her three times at 12:20, 12:30, and 12:40 to pay. She didn't answer. Then I called the manager named Ruben and told him I was ready. He said Ms. Amanda was very busy because she was completing a transaction with someone else. Then I waited until around 3:30 PM for Ms. Amanda to send me a text message saying that the car was still available and explaining that she was very busy. After seeing the text message, I immediately called Ruben to continue the transaction because Ms. Amanda was busy. But Ruben told me that Ms. Amanda had sold the car at a high price to someone else and his tone was full of arrogance, pride, and mockery towards me. He suggested that I buy another car with a lower configuration from their inventory. I always maintained my composure and respect for them, but now when I think back on it, it was simply an insult and mockery to me. Oddly enough- the sales team is great here but the service department is a hot mess. Delays, not returning phone calls, and not doing what they say they will do. I purchased my Dodge Challenger when it was Dick's Chrysler Jeep Dodge and loved the dealership. I always had great customer service but that has changed since it's been taken over. Just okay service since then for oil changes (the last one took nearly 4 hours) and tires... Today was the LAST time I'll ever consider working with this dealership or recommending them. I called for a simple quote for BULBS for my Challenger headlights and was quoted $2500 for the entire headlight assembly. I called asking for the cost of replacement bulbs and installation. I did not call for a quote for an entire headlight assembly installation. I'm familiar with my car and I could change my own bulbs but I thought I'd pay someone. By the time I got off the phone, after voicing how stunned I was prices ranged from nearly 400-1300. I'll tell you how it felt and why I will never be back... it felt that if I had said okay and had the work done I would have ended paying $2500. The perception of outright dishonesty is not something I will overcome. It also leaves me asking how many have been taken by these tactics. I guarantee I wasn't the first one he tried this on and then tried to imply I didn't know what I was talking about when I told him he was nuts. Buyer beware. I will spend my money elsewhere from here on out. More
Because the scheduler and the service department don’t communicate it was a waste of time driving 2 hrs each way to find they couldn’t do the work . Why, because Krysta cared about me through a tough repair. Krysta’s actions speak loudly. Their mechanic (Robert) who replaced my entire rear differential took the time to show me what got damaged when the carrier bearing went out, froze bearings, five (5) broken teeth on the pinion ring gear, and damaged the housing. He made it right! Candidly, I would entice her away every chance I had if I had my own business. I mean it. The Extended Warranty Company called EVERYTHING BREAKS.COM located in Dallas, Texas is definitely NOT a company that I would recommend EVER! They denied my claim for multiple invalid reasons for 3 months and left me stuck 300 miles from home. Lucky for me, TONKIN stayed engaged the entire time. NOTE THIS: - KRYSTA WAS TENACIOUS AGAINST THE WARRANTY COMPANY’S INTENTIONAL DELAYS AND INCOMPETENCE. - THEY DID NOT STOP HER. - SHE DID NOT QUIT. - I COULD CLEARLY SEE, QUITING IS NOT IN KRYSTA’s DNA.
