Bought a used car with 10k miles from Dicks and I’m happy with my purchase. But I’m not happy with what I had to go through to get the deal done. As a single woman, buying a car with that few miles on it, fo with my purchase. But I’m not happy with what I had to go through to get the deal done. As a single woman, buying a car with that few miles on it, fortunately I said no to your $5000 of extra warranties. I also said no to your trade-in amount for my vehicle which was $7000 less than three other dealerships had offered me. You offered me $7000 for my jeep. I just sold it for 18k in one day. And know that I knew you bought my car from an auction as stated on the car fax, not the little old couple of your bogus story. Buyers Beware of this dealship! More
Less than 1 star review. I had an appt and 2 email confirmations. The first email was from the Sales Mgr and the used car I wanted to see was referenced by him in that email. When I arrived at the de confirmations. The first email was from the Sales Mgr and the used car I wanted to see was referenced by him in that email. When I arrived at the dealership, I was first told the car was on another lot and they were having it brought over. Another 15 min wait, and then the salesman and the Used Car Manager came out and said I couldn't see the car because it was in the repair bay - said it was probably something they noticed re: safety. Then, as we were getting ready to drive away, they said if I could wait another 5 mins they'd have the car available. So which statement is true - is the car unsafe and in the repair bay or not? This experience further confirmed my belief that dealers are shysters. I went home, found a car on craigslist and bought it. More
The service dept sucks. I bought a used f 150 and 6 mo later there is water everywhere inside, transmission squeaks, and I have zero brakes after 2000 miles of driving. This car sat on there lot for a ye later there is water everywhere inside, transmission squeaks, and I have zero brakes after 2000 miles of driving. This car sat on there lot for a year, they knew about the leak. xxxx this place. More
Honestly it was a very quick hassle free experience. Waaaaaaay better than any other dealer I've ever dealt with. I actually was trying to avoid dealers after my last encounter with a different dealer but Bruce Chevrolet made it easy, quick and was one of the better deals in the area. Let me put it this way I had a 2 and 6 year old and it was quick enough they didn't have enough time to get bored. At the end they did try to push typical add on warranty or sealants, etc. I just don't have a need so I declined. They didn't seems to push too hard back on declining those. More

If I could, I would give a zero star review - honestly, it was probably one of the worst car buying experienced ever. And we ended up walking out. We loved a certain truck - but were leery - honestly, it was probably one of the worst car buying experienced ever. And we ended up walking out. We loved a certain truck - but were leery about it’s towing capabilities, and we were not interested in a larger model for much more money. He insisted that the truck we liked and that he was heavily trying to push would pull our 40 foot travel trailer. He kept telling us not to worry about the weight, not to worry about the size of the truck and he has “this person and this person who uses the same truck for pulling more size and weight than we are”...etc. Great – however this guy has no idea whether those same people have special tow packages on that vehicle, or have other items that were on their vehicle that were not on the one we were looking at. The vehicle in question that we were being pushed towards did not have any special packages for towing. And the more we looked at the specs the more we knew it was not the right truck for our needs, all while he was pushing paperwork to us for prelim number crunching and credit checking. Our sales guy actually threw what amounted to a temper tantrum once we said we weren’t confident towards the end and we’re going to think more on it. He threw down the financing papers and briefly walked off, and then was very cold and short with us the rest of the time we were there, walking fast with attitude and looking at window stickers to find us something on the lot that would “satisfy our issues”. We told him we’d think on it and left. We then turned around and went back to our tried-and-trusted dealership right up the street and got another Ram that same day instead. Moral of the story: stick with your tried-and-trusted, dealership/car make & model/ whatever... don’t go looking for something bigger/better if what you’ve been doing has worked great. We highly recommend going across the street and West a little bit to Dick‘s Country and completely bypassing Bruce Chevrolet . More
One very satisfied customer, one outstanding salesman! I decided to quit making excuses and finally face the fact that the time had come to do the dreaded deed of car shop!!!! Well it used to be a dreaded I decided to quit making excuses and finally face the fact that the time had come to do the dreaded deed of car shop!!!! Well it used to be a dreaded deed until fate should have it I stop over at Bruce Chevrolet and meet Gary Valentic..... I must say that I have purchased a number of new vehicles in my time from all different dealerships, and never have enjoyed the experience as a whole until I came to this dealership... Gary made this the easiest experience I've ever had.... Straight forward, no haggle, honest pricing, and none of the typical hidden fees for splash guards, or $ 400 floor mats that I needed to pay for!!!! Just nice friendly, knowledgeable folks at a good honest Dealership!!! Thanks Gary, and thanks Bruce Chevrolet I'll be back for the next one!!! More
They say one thing and do another. I made an appointment to test drive a 2015 Corvette, but when I arrived I was told I couldn't do it unless I negotiated to buy a car. Tim then said he I made an appointment to test drive a 2015 Corvette, but when I arrived I was told I couldn't do it unless I negotiated to buy a car. Tim then said he had no way of contacting me, despite the fact that I gave him my email address over the phone when I made the appt.....total deceit. More
I brought in my Trailblazer for service and decided to take a look at my trade-in/ purchase options since I was looking at a lot of repairs. Trevor (my salesman) took a lot of time to work with me to help take a look at my trade-in/ purchase options since I was looking at a lot of repairs. Trevor (my salesman) took a lot of time to work with me to help me decide my needs, and between him and the finance office they got me into a brand new car at a GREAT interest rate! Recommended! More
Planning on a future purchase, we'd talked with several dealerships to help get additional information. Bruce Chev was a noticeable breath of fresh air. Pressure was low and more straightforward, by far, dealerships to help get additional information. Bruce Chev was a noticeable breath of fresh air. Pressure was low and more straightforward, by far, than we'd come to expect. I've bought about 8 new cars in my years and this was by far the easiest and most fair experience yet. Thanks Les Dalrymple. More
