Really wish I did not have to write this review. Traded my vehicle in and purchased a used vehicle on 2/5/26. Pleased with my purchase until a week later 2/12, when I took this vehicle to my mechani Traded my vehicle in and purchased a used vehicle on 2/5/26. Pleased with my purchase until a week later 2/12, when I took this vehicle to my mechanic for an inspection and found out that a major maintenance item had not been corrected, or disclosed during negotiations. This Honda vehicle, a 2017 model had timed out on its timing belt replacement. Honda recommends replacement at 105,00 miles or 7years, and my vehicle is 9 years old with 72,000 miles on it After initial text to sales associate about the problem on 2/12/26 where they said it would be looked into, I never heard from them the next day. I traveled to the dealership for a discussion about the situation and was brusquely told that they would not be able to help me, by Sales and Sales manager. I am having the belt replaced tomorrow as this is an interference engine, which means that major engine damage occurs when the belt breaks while engine is running. I can't afford to risk it. It should have been disclosed at time of sale. More

I went into the dealership to purchase a car My credit score being 843 at the time. My score is now 781. The car was for my daughter and this was disclosed from he beginning. Instead of communicating with me Tudor just kept running my credit through different credit unions. Tudor reprimanded me for telling the truth to the credit union. He could have honestly communicated with me. I would have walked away before 8 hits to my credit report happened. I worked hard to obtain the credit score I had. If I was a male I would have not had this problem. More

I purchased a 1 year old used vehicle from Tonkin Honda in 2017. When I initial purchased the vehicle, three days after it smelled extremely bad like cigarette smoke. I was not told that the previous owner in 2017. When I initial purchased the vehicle, three days after it smelled extremely bad like cigarette smoke. I was not told that the previous owner was a smoker, who smoked in the vehicle. On February 9,2021, I took my truck into a Dodge Dealership to get my truck fixed, which would have been under Manufacturer's warranty as well as the Extended Warranty I purchased. When I took it there, I was notified that the Vehicle was a Canadian truck and was still covered under the Manufacturing warranty. However, because it's a Canadian truck, the Manufacturing warranty doesn't apply to the United States. They also informed me that the Extended warranty was the wrong type of contract. The sale of a vehicle from out of the country, without disclosing to the customer is a violation of the Unlawful Trades Act. I have contacted the Attorney General's office and I will file a formal complaint with them as well. After a day, Tonkin Honda did fix the extended warranty , I feel like they sold me a vehicle under the guise of an american vehicle that still had a valid manufacturing warranty. Had I known that the manufacturing warranty was no good and that the previous person smoked in the vehicle, I would not have purchased this vehicle. While the Warranty was getting corrected, i was out of a vehicle. I asked if they would provide me a loner while this was being handled and was told no. The General Manager of Sales said that a loner is available through your warranty.... that's nice, a warranty that currently isn't a valid contract and one which they were disputing. On top of all this, if you try to type a negative review on their web-page, it will not submit unless you mark Happy. How convenient. More
