I leased a 2017 JETTA in Jan 2017 now a year and half later my tire light goes on and when I got my tire checked out the tech told me my tire was plugged and now it’s leaking. Now my vehicle has only been in two people possession of my car the dealer and I.. now I know I never touched my tire. I’ve plugged tires in the past if I had a nail in my tire then be it. I’ll fix it. But no the dealership is not taking responsibility for misleading someone in a sale. They know they plugged my tire. They are claiming they have no record of it, but how convenient they don’t have record of it. I’m also being told I had possession of my vehicle for a while now. But don’t you think it’s kind of funny a year and half later the plug finally starts to leak, since a plug isn’t a permanent fix anyway?... there was many ways this dealer could of handled this issue but instead they want to place blame on me. I’m in a lease I will be needed another car at some point and I can assure you I will never come back to this dealership. If there is no customer loyalty why should I have buyers loyalty. More

I was waiting for a part on back order for 9 months. I went to another dealer to see if the part was available, which it was. I went back to them and told service and parts dept. the part was now available. I took them another 3 weeks to get it and failed to notify me the part was in I made numerous trips and phone calls and service and parts could not get together and set up arrangements to notify me. I went to parts and got the part myself and said I would take care of it. They suck. More

They Made the IMPOSSIBLE, POSSIBLE!!! The alternator failed on our 2 month old 2014 Jetta while we were vacationing and visiting family in South Jersey. We were 700 miles from home and we The alternator failed on our 2 month old 2014 Jetta while we were vacationing and visiting family in South Jersey. We were 700 miles from home and were already in a very stressful situation. To make matters worse, we learned that the part needed to get us on our way was on a national backorder - a nightmare situation to say the least! From the moment we walked in the door, Mike put us at ease and assured us that he would help get us home. He got everyone around him to make the impossible, possible! He went far beyond the limits of customer service and acted on our behalf as if he was part of our family. We spent almost the entire day at the dealership waiting for a miracle to happen, while Mike was on the phone with corporate, running around the dealership, asking employees to help with our case and possibly stay after their shifts - he did EVERYTHING that he could to fight for us so we could get the part we needed somehow so we could make our 700 mile ride home the following morning. Mike went absolutely above and beyond and far exceeded our expectations. We got the part we needed, and we are happy to say that our drive home went smoothly! The Jetta is still running as it should! We cannot thank Mike and his team enough for their help!! A special thanks also goes out to the Parts Manager for all of his help and the Service Tech for staying late to fix our car! There aren't any words to express our gratitude to all of you! Thanks so much again, Mike! God Bless! More
Service Dept I bought my car at another dealership but did my service work at this Toms River location. I've been here 2-3 times already & had horrible experiences I bought my car at another dealership but did my service work at this Toms River location. I've been here 2-3 times already & had horrible experiences. The first one was when I had to do my 20k free maintaince. I waited over 5 hours!! After 2 hours of waiting I wanted to see what was taking so long, oil change & tire rotation should not take that long! The guy told me that they were busy, okay, understandable, more than half way waiting within the 5 hours, I went up 2 more times & the guy at sales told me that they were doing a water pump. I told the guy if that was the case then I would have dropped my car off & came back, I've been waiting 5 1/2 hours & I want my car. Another 20 mins go by & I finally get my car back. The second time I did my 30k maintaince and this time I waited over 3 hours which is ridiculous for oil change & tire rotation. As soon as I get home, my tire light went on, I cleared it thinking that no one reset it, the next morning as I'm leaving work in Red Bank, I noticed that my tire light was on again. So I went to the gas station to put air in it & I noticed that there was a bubble in my rear tire!! My boyfriend works in a car dealership, I know how things work, it's a hazardous thing for something that this to happen & that NO ONE mentioned it to me!! The techs marked the bubble with a yellow marker but not one person came to me & told me. As far as I know, that's not okay from a dealership, you need to let the customer know & in this case I was not informed at all! I commute to red bank & jersey city everyday you need to let your customers know, god forbid something bad happened while I was driving on the parkway or turnpike because of an air bubble on a tire that your techs did not mention to me. I hope the next time I come in, it's best customer service. More

Every I needed brakes and knew from a previous visit that a CV Boot was leaking. Called on Monday afternoon and had appointment for Tuesday morning. Everyone was very professional, work was done promptly and I picked my Jetta up, freshly washed on Tuesday afternoon. Dealer pricing, but Joe honored a coupon that was a coupe of days old that saved me serious money and brought the total into a good deal range. Thanks Joe! More
FINALLY A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AT A CAR DEALERSHIP We were not happy knowing that we had to take our 2007 PASSAT to a VW dealership for service. The car was running very rough, leaking oil, the check engine and airbag lights were on, as well as problems with our headlights. With 118,900 miles on the car, it was due for inspection in 5 days, so we really didn't have a choice on where to take the car, except to which dealership. After a couple of negative experiences at other dealerships you have to understand our reluctance of taking our car to yet another. After hearing and reading positive feedback about WORLD VOLKSWAGON, we decided to give them a call and make an appointment. From the moment I spoke with Lauren my Service Advisor, I knew we had made the right choice. Lauren was friendly, outgoing, and very knowledgeable. She explained to us that there mechanics would do a diagnostic exam of our car, and give us an estimate of cost before any work was to be done. Upon arriving at WORLD Lauren asked us if we knew about a couple of recalls on our Passat [in which none of the other dealers never informed us of] that would have expired at 120,000 miles. Lauren told us they would fix the recalls before performing any diagnostics on the car. We left our car feeling very comfortable we were in good hands. Lauren called us the next day and informed us that one of the recalls involved the PCV, which caused the problem with the check engine light, the motor to run rough, and saved us a ton of money in the process. The other recalls involved replacing the turbocharger pipe, the intake flap motor, and the fuel pressure sensor. Upon further diagnosis and inspection, the parts we needed to complete the repairs, had to be ordered. To my surprise, Lauren offered us a loaner car, since we were going into a weekend, and it would be mid-week before the repairs were completed. The loaner car they gave us turned out to be a brand new Passat. Our car was due to be finished on Wednesday, but Lauren called us Tuesday and told us we could pick it up at the end of the day. With all the money they saved us through the recalls, we were able to get other work that was needed done to our car. To make a long story short,[LOL] and I could keep going on about how great the team is at WORLD VOLKSWAGON. There prices are right in line with any normal repair shop, such as 20.00 dollars for tire rotation, 67.76 for an oil change using 5 quarts of Castrol synthetic oil, and VOLKSWAGON oil filter. Hey that's a great price for an oil change. Most shops would charge 75.00 plus, using synthetics!!! When all was said and done this dealership from sales to service was busy, very friendly, clean, professional, organized, and would certainly recommend them to any VOLKSWAGON owner. THANK YOU TO LAUREN AND WORLD VOLKSWAGON FOR THE GREAT WORK AND RESTORING OUR FAITH IN CAR DEALERSHIPS!!!......MARC AND JEAN....MANAHAWKIN, NJ More
